This channel is gold man. I've been wanting to learn how to my photos on Photoshop compared through Lightroom. I just feel like there is more freedom and control despite how complicated it could be.

Have been a Photoshop user and photographer for approximately 20 years..........and a Mac user for 30 years. My main line line of work is photographing and creating automotive artwork - primarily vintage classic cars. Ok, that said, I am always looking for new and better ways to improve and/or enhance my car photos. In particular, I landed here to see if I could find some ideas/tips/or procedures to create (add) "ambient" realistic reflections to [ primarily ] the side of cars. (I know how to "remove" distracting reflections) - my aim today is how to "add" convincing reflections on the car(s). I don't know if your tutorial, although very good, is of much help. #1 - You are shooting cars under controlled lighting in a controlled environment. Rarely do I get this opportunity - even when I have been engaged by a client to do a commission project......... One hint for what its worth. In addition to cutting out the car, cut out its shadow so you can put the shadow on a separate Layer and then change its opacity and/or Transform its shape. Always put the shadow layer in the Multiply mode and also add another shadow layer above which I call; "darker shadow" (because shadows are always slightly darker directly under the tires and under the deeper part of the car). I use a completely soft high diffused brush and/or the radial gradient tool to "pull in" some slightly darker shadows.........and of course, put this layer in the Multiply mode as well. Thanks for the tutorial. I always put up ideas from any good tutorial.

No point making a video how to do something and your half way through it ? You need to take it from the beggining. You already have all the layers etc all made
