- Advance honing is a vertical system released together with Echidna raid. With clearing Echidna raid, players are allowed to advance hone their gear to increase the item level further. In this video, Kanima advance hone his weapon to get more damage.

I don't think anyone thinks it's worse. At most, it's net zero or slightly better. It maths out to be around the same cost, but it just *feels* better to use this system.
@@grayson6615 Its all relative. befora wep 19 it's better, it costs less to get 1630. Here are numbers from kanima tapping session comparing to traditional +20 > +21 (full juice) way: Red Stones -34% Leap: -23% Silver: -82% Shard: -62% Gold: -57%, in 37 taps. Im comparing avg trad honning vs 1 sample, so this could be different, but, adv honning has much less varaince comparing to trad honning and "worst" scenario in advancing is nearly impossible (37 tappings hitting 50% = 0,00000...1% chance)
These number are INSANELLY better when comparing >=22.
For now that's the maths, it could be different when +30 or +50 advancing honing comes, but, this is what it is...
@@rguinucci Yeah I don't get how he said it doesn't cost less until +23. Seems like his math is pretty far off.
This system is far better than Elixir or Trascendence. Braindead, you can brute force, also cheap.
