Dictatorship, corruption and government favor to Indian government. Figure it out each root causes and eliminate all those unreliable system.
Left oriented economical analysis: whatever you both say settled & dedicated government with socio capitalist system, foreign direct investment, market economy are the key factors for progress of any country. China is developing more rapidly, because it has socio capitalist market economy as Deng Xiaoping opened China's door to the west since 1979, after the death of Mao in 1976 . Why Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malesia, Israel and many other countries are developed, because of British & American style of capitalism as well as market economy. Despite being rich in natural resources why Russia has less GDP than even south Korea! Ultimately if the people of any country have jobs & have more money, their life is better than relatively poor countries like North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela & other third world countries like Nepal!
