I think Devin is a hugely overlooked antagonist. He’s not a psychotic, evil manipulator like Tenpenny and Dimitri, nor is he a cartel or mob boss, but the thing is that Devin is his own character. Many GTA antagonists like Pegorino or Dimitri are known to the media as businessmen. Devin is an actual businessman who has an almost fully legitimate empire. He’s a bit like Donald Love without the cannibalism and terrorism. He’s overlooked because he’s not intimidating but I think he’s well written and he’s actually very smart, but very arrogant and narcissistic too. I think Devin is meant to be Michael’s counterpart - a richer person who actually enjoys his lavish lifestyle and enjoys screwing people over and likes socialising with people. Michael sees in Devin what he’s not and that annoys him because Devin can actually enjoy his rich lifestyle. The complete difference between them is that Michael has a conscious whereas Devin seemingly does not.
@@markmagician2471He also hires those people to do illegal things which in return ALSO means he’s doing the illegal activities. I've said this before, but Devin is a different sort to most of the other GTAntagonists. Though some of his plans get screwed, he never truly falls into desperation until the very end. Many of the other villains have moments where they underestimate the main characters and it leads to their operations crumbling, their support systems falling apart, their money running dry and their forces being either decimated or abandoning them for lack of pay or loyalty. Devin, on the other hand, doesn't really have that happen. His operations are still in place, he still has Merryweather, and he's still stupid rich and shows no signs of slowing down the growth of his wealth or the abuse of his power. In any other GTA game, he'd probably have gotten away with it. The problem? In other GTAs, the antagonist only has to deal with _one_ "force of nature" protagonist. Devin had to deal with three, plus Lamarr. If even one of those elements weren't in place, The Third Way would've probably been a tragic ending.
Devin would have had Franklin kill Michael if he just paid him for the cars and offering him protection against Steve hains. We would of had Trevor trying to kill Franklin and a better interested ending.

Exactly, he gets precisely what he deserves. The greatest insult. Greed can make you prosper, for a time but eventually it ruins you
Killing Trevor is understandable. Deathwish is obvious. But if you kill Michael mannnnnn. There’s something wrong with you
Michael is worse than Trevor. He betrayed everyone he robbed with at the start, originally planned for Trevor to die ( Coz brad walks in front of daves shot meant for Trevor at the start). Sure Trevor has outbursts now and then but Michael was a wolf in sheep's clothing.
I love how zesty they made him
Why Michael so easy to manipulate
Wait...
There's a light side to Devin?
At times I wish what could happen if Niko met Devin or CJ
Honestly think they'd just kill Devin on the spot trying to bullshit them
I thought he was the Jeffrey Epstein of the game
Yo @KBRondo u should videos on rdr 1&2, manhunt series and the other gta series

I dont know if devin is a true psychopath, but he is at least sociopathic. He might not have been born that way, but if he ever had it, hes lost all sense of empathy and care for others. He is very narcissistic and self absorbed. Gets pleasure out of ruining other people's day, messing with the lives of people whp did nothing to him. He sees himself as superior to everyone, including governments. And in some ways, hes not wrong. Hes a completely different type of antagonist. One that actually has a private army and a government agency in his pocket, on top of several billions in different business ventures
I heard somewhere that he used to work a normal job before being this corrupt businessman. He is probably the most annoying of them all but if ou really think about it, he is the most lawful. Other characters just kill a bunch of people
Whats the background music you used for this video my boa, it’s manhunt background music?
Dude put polo on Micheal 🤣
Michael and the son😂
Devin Westin is the west coast Donald love
Honestly, why Jon Walker never appeared on shows for interviews?
Imagine if Devin was your Dad.
Your voice is cold
