My first ever concert Sheffield arena 1994 best day of my young life. Brian such a talented singer. Miss this band such a shame they never got back together properly. I had posters all over my wall from the teen magazines best days ever 😊❤
"Deep" is their song, that takes all. It's so strong, so characteristic, that any other can even not approach it. Only for "Deep" I can say, it was really necessary for all the work they have done, as it put something on the table that gave lot of people a lot. I am definitely among them. Thank you East17, thank you Tim.
OMFG! Nostalgia trip!!!!!!!!!! I saw this tour live when they came to the Playhouse here in Edinburgh and I LOVED it!!!!!!!! Tony Mortimer was so hot back then!!! :-D
Take your nightmare Change 2 dream Flow in the rhythm like a stream Fear no evil, fear no man Open up the mind And the beats goes bam Rhythm rolling, running smooth Just like a little love Sent 2 soothe Ease the pressure, let it all go Don't be afraid let the feeling flow
I was at this My sister liked them. What I always found weird was Mortimer looks like he sings Harvey's parts and Harvey looks like he raps Mortimer's parts. If you didn't know Harvey was a brilliant singer that is. Image wise it's different
Wow not seen this in a long time, still have the videos of both concerts somewhere. Who remembers how much money the record companies use to spend on the groups back then. Tapes, CDs, Various CD releases of the same song with different mixes, Picture Disc's, Posters, Mini Magazines dedicated to them, Stickers, Video Messages, Videos, Books & god knows what else. What a brilliant time it was with Smash Hits magazine around & the Smash Hits Road Show plus Poll winners party. I miss those days & will never sell any of my Smash Hits magazines.
i went to this tour at the birmingham city symphony hall oh my god i so loved it! it was my first ever concert! east 17 gods, east 17 forever! 10/10 :) x come back its time to come back xxxxxxxxxxxx
My brother bought me the VHS at the period! And i was at concert in June 95 in Paris! Great Band unfortunately, the band split except John and Terry who moved on together and chose a Singer! Both of them were fed up as they were always on the background and didnt sing!Today, they feel free as they're no Leader anymore!
awesome to see this after so many years! I saw them in Birmingham on this tour, brings back soooo many memories!! Steam, Steam, Steam anyone? :D Forgot what good dancers they were, too! :D
Помню как ждала этот концерт... Видак на старте для записи 😄😄😄 И влюблённый треш по парням... Браин няшка ❤️❤️❤️ Нелетто сейчас на лицо мне напоминает Тони)))
Omg i had this on VHS 😂. I bet my mom threw everything away after we had high water in our basement. I have a few Posters still but not many. I had concert Ticket I think it was 1996 for Luxembourg but they canceled the tour 😢 😢😢. And that was it of East 17
I remember taping this when it was broadcast on TV in the UK way back when, I thought as a concert it was 'ok' but the highlight has got to be their cover version of Shai's hit 'If I Ever' with T Green which I still listen to to this day. I thought the arrangement was a lot better than the studio release which featured Gabrielle.
Thank you for uploading, nice to see you. They where good when they were good. That’s so sad what happened to them, strange, they had so many hits but didn’t make any money, I only had one hit and probably have more money than all of them together ... but then I didn’t have a manager and I write my own music
Hey Sebastian, Tony Mortimer earned a lot as he composed all this hits, so he received money for each sale (they sold like 18 Million records back then). But yeah, the other ones (especially Brian, who was the most important part of East 17 because of his strong voice) didn't earned enough for their work. That's why they all composed each 3 songs for the third album (Mortimer 4), but only Mortimer's song were released as singles (but the album and the singles haven't been so successful like the ones in the years before). That's why Tony and Brian had problems at the end. That was really sad, they were really great together.
I can remember reading an article shortly after this concert by the band I think it was in smash hits magazine saying they couldn't even hear themselves think never mind sing because of all the screaming so I think they did really well!
Can't help but feel for Brian Harvey, having watched these videos. I remember in secondary school, I Luv BH all the girls had on their bags, folder etc etc. Tony Mortimer, I had to google East 17 to remember your name. Hahahsa. Deluded tool that one.
Great upload, i went to this concert at Brighton Center and it was great. its annoying they never released this concert and No Place Like Home on DVD so its brilliant you took the time to upload them thx
Take me home Where my soul belongs Shout to the North to the South To the East to the West To the home I love best Where my soul can rest, yes terry coldwell

It's Michael Bolton

Agreed. They should have released the single with T-Green instead of Gabrielle, with this arrangement.
I taped it too. I like Gabrielle but I wished that they'd released this version instead.
Wow never knew it was a cover
