Tony not only wrote the songs, he created East 17.. He was the one who got a record deal from london record just because of his songs, and he was given the task to find the other band members. London records invested millions because of the genius Tony Mortimer..

Fascinating! Tony is a quality songwriter! He wrote the 1st album on his own. The majority of the 2nd album on his own. Yeah, Brian had the voice but Tony had the lyrics! This is before the wheels completely fell off in 1996 & the 1st split in 1997. Tony is the only one who seems self-confident. Brian, John & Terry all (really) seem insecure at this point. Got to say 👏🏽 VERY brave to be totally live! Is it pitch perfect? No. Brian is really into the performance! Tony's rapping is nailed every time 👌🏽

I used to like them a lot!!! It’s a shame how it ended and how they tried to go onwards without Brian I mean come on, that is not possible. If they ever do another reunion with all 4 of them I would definitely go see them…but Brian said he’s not going to make music anymore and Tony idk he has changed so much that I can’t picture him in a reunion…i hope they try to do a tour together…and it would bring them so much money too, I’m sure they would sell tickets out. Maybe we should start a petition lol and collect signatures
i love Brian Harvey he was the voice of est 17 the rest of then couldn't sing a note the way he got treated is disgusting he got serious mental health issues not one of them band members stood by him his voice is pure gold ok tony had his part by writing the songs
