This is awesome to see love this old footage!! I remember as a kid seeing my first half pipe in Quebec, I drove by it when we where driving through, I can’t remember exactly where it was but I was so excited to see it. Then when I was young I use to travel on the carnival shows with my Mom and Dad, my Dad did tattoos out of a trailer and they would buy me all day passes for the rides. Well I met these guys who did BMX biking shows for the carnival, I helped them set up there quarter pipe and they let me be part of the one show and they selected me and nine other kids to lay down and they jumped over us with their BMX bikes. The last day they performed they came that night and we chilled and ate Captain Crunch out of the box on top of the quarter pipe. They left the next day but it was an awesome experience, I was only like seven at the time but the BMX bikers thought my Dad and I where kool so they kinda took me under their wing and treated me like a bro. I can’t remember any of their names but thank you guys for showing me a great time and giving me the time of my life!!
remember when contests were sponsored by skateboard companies and skateboard clothing? also, when's the last time a pro-contest played TSOL.. i was here for the vert on day 2. thanks for posting!
Thanks for posting this classic. I remember watching this all the time and getting pumped to go skate afterward. It seems to me that Jeff Hedges should have won the amateur contest.

I'm telling you now ....t-mag rode our ramp.....the cedar crest and did much bigger air.....way back in the day.....2 ft over my head......the crest was a mean fast ramp that needed 4 more feet of flat bottom.......badass big ramp........
Actually, an AM faked a wipe out with a blood capsule in his helmet. Paramedics, the whole nine and they wiped it away and he was fine. If I remember correctly, they gave him the boot and I don't remember who it was.
