this is one of the bach's hardest fugues because it has to be played both precise yet lyrical ( and frankly i think his most beautiful & ethereal fugue ) and you did it kudos ! mxncb
No one knows what Bach would perceive of this tempo...maybe he never heard any one play his piece? So thoughtful between notes yet ambitious is my take away!!!
What one should do is in the first place, stop playing Bach, and then stop playing the piano. Then, one could start playing something.... for example chamber music, oh not much, only a few pieces from Mozart, the violin & piano sonatas.
This is quite good. It looks so simple that encourages piano students to want to play this piece. Thanks 👍

I don’t agree with this tempo, faster may suit better. But totally love what you are trying to do!
I like it slower. Gives the feeling of church organ preluding.
