Given what Alex Otti is doing, my fellow Abians, this is no longer a time to ask what the government can do for us but rather to ask what we can do to support our Governor and state government. Let's start with keeping the streets clean and not litter - hold your stuff until you see a garbage bin and throw it in there. Litters on the road make the road a dirty one and they also clog the drainage system eventually to cause flooding and damages to the road 2. Let us learn to queue up at every service point and not crowd the place up and talking over one another; be it at a shop, filling station, and so on 3. Where there is any traffic light or someone is controlling the traffic, let's be patient, obey and follow the signals or instructions. This saves us from head-on collisions, broken limbs, car repair cost, hospital bills and even death. Stop when the signal shows red, even if there is no cars on the adjacent road. 4. Gutters are very important to keeping the roads dry, after rain, and to last longer. Let us learn to not throw anything inside the gutter. They block the gutters, cause flooding and damage the roads 5. Obey and comply with the governments instructions 6. Use public/gov property properly so others can also use them and we can still them another time. Do not destroy or steal. So instead of gov spending money to repair or replace, it can use such money to put up another infrastructure. 7. Let us avoid engaging in crimes. It destroys a people and rob them of opportunities. Abia nwere madu, home and abroad, who can bring their wealth home to invest, create businesses and employment. But this can't happen in an atmosphere of crime. Anyone complaining that the Governor is concentrating work on a particular area should know that the state does not have enough money to develop every town and city at the same time. This is only his first year and his hand has already touched every part of the state with road construction. Give him time and he will do more for your town or city. I am not from Abia but for 24years Orji Uzor Kanu, Theodore Orji and Ikpeazu bankrupted and brought Abia to a Zero level. A no go area,trash .We thank God for bringing in a man that understands what is shame and disgrace to his people,Otti swung into action and cleaned and start building roads and install electricity and changed Abia within one year.❤❤❤❤❤❤

I thank God once more for the INEC rep prof Nnena Oti who allowed the people vote to stand. The peoples votes counted in only 1 or 2 states out of 36 states in Nigeria.
Dear Nigerians, if you really want a change in Nigeria, start with electing adequate Governors first. If we have Good Governors in 20 states in Nigeria like Fashola of Lagos, Otti of Abia State, trust me, Nigeria will outgrow where it is currently.

I know because I was in secondary school then and we envied one of those schools, Odogunyan senior grammar school. It was during his tenure that the government started working on Ikorodu roads and BRT's were introduced to ease transportation in the state. During Fashola's tenure, my neighbour at Odogunyan senior grammar school got 5 free text books and exercise books, I was schooling in a town that shared a border with Lagos, we didn't get because the town where I lived was in Ogun State. Parents withdrew their kids from my school and sent them to the closest schools in Lagos. I don't know if Fashola stole money or not but I know he performed well in Lagos State. Having a different opinion doesn't make someone a green snake as you called it.
