    I can understand why people might say he i'snt humble or is cocky. He does give off that vibe but he is also a very driven and talented young athlete. Look at how he interacts with his teammates. He is out there encouraging and motivating them. I want to see this kid make it to the top in the 800m. His parents are a class act as well. I loved how supportive his parents were!

    Never being close to Cade Flatt, being on the outside looking in I never realized the perseverance and heart the kid had. I always thought in the 4 years I was there he was self-centered and selfish. Watching this documentary at the part where he did it for the guys back home in Marshall County brought a tear to my eye. The entire time I thought this kid was spoiled and ungrateful but I was wrong. Cade has more then motivation he has self discipline which in a lot of high school athletes doesn’t exist. I’m just thankful I was a witness fantastic documentary and best of luck.

    • @midwestnagyfa
      @midwestnagyfa ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He's definitely self-centered on the track, but it isn't the same as selfish. He definitely works hard to improve himself and backs up his cocky demeanor on the track. So sure, he could present himself as more humble, but I don't think it ultimately detracts from him.

    Absolutely loved every min of this documentary. I love Cade’s running form and swag. I hope he keeps his signature fit (1 calf sleeve)..it’s unique & unique is good.
    I feel for him in the 146.48 race cause of the way it went out. It reminds me of the 2017 New Balance high school Nationals in the 800m championship heats I was part of, a few 400m specialists went out in 50 sec …meaning I went thru the 400m in 52 which was 2 sec faster than what I was used to running. Believe it or not, I was darn near in last (8 of 11) because everyone went with em or at least a half a sec behind (51 sec)…winded up passing most ppl and getting 3rd in my heat with a 152, but I ran the whole entire race in lane 2 and some in 3. Could’ve possibly won the heat with a 150, but the 3 guys went out crazy for no reason and all fell apart hard!! …many 400m specialists (certainly not all) are absolutely awful at pacing themselves, they ran with a sprinter first mindset, unfortunately which in this case, it got in the way of his-tory being made. I surely hope the young man wasn’t doing that intentionally, but nothing surprises me any more. Regardless, what a season it has been for Cade!

      800 is by far the hardest event. Distance runners find it easy because they think they can just run it like a distance event. It’s basically a 800m sprint.

    • @BrayoFitnessTrainer
      @BrayoFitnessTrainer ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I was fortunate during my running career to have trained and ran in all of the events from XC to the 100m competitively, and set 2 long held state records in both the 16 & 8, and I can attest that the 800m is the most challenging event if you’re competitive enough. Any slight mis-take will cost one a race in a solid field. Hence why I ran the 800m the same way Rudisha ran..from the front which requires a lot of mental strength and proper pacing.
