Its always amazing what a talented person and 1 or 2 instruments can do with tons and tons of ENERGY and JOY. When you love what you do it shows, and you guys Infected me with your joy! Magnificent work both on the live performance and DubStep Production.
My favorite two things about this video. 1. My violin professor rocking this remix. 2. The smile on the pianist's face. Love to see musicians loving their music.
"Badass violinist" was a massive understatement. She absolutely killed it! And yeah, they were probably having way too much fun; which, of course, is the whole point. Love to see it!
Mind blown. The traditional training to understand the entirety of this piece with such accuracy and then remix and condense it like that. Not only is it brilliant but it’s also masterful. Well done! (Vivaldi himself would agree)
I sadly disagree. From a performance point of view, this is brilliantly executed. But the remix fails to capture the nuance and tempo of each “season”, which is an integral part of this work.
They were having so much fun! The violinist was absolutely killing it; she's totally into the music. His performance on piano rocked the house. They're the fantastic duo!
This deserves much much more than a standing ovation! I can only imagine what it's like to be there in the presence of such greatness. I just came across this channel by chance. The talent is overwhelming bringing old classics to a new generation and beyond! Encore!!
I honestly couldn't believe the audience didn't leap to their feet at the conclusion! I had chills up and down my arms at several points -0it was unbelievably great (and I am not a fan of classical music by any stretch of the imagination). WOW JUST WOW.
In one of the prestigious places to play his craft. He is like I am going to have fun and launch a missile at the heart of what is considered classical music.
THE SMILE THOUGH! That energy that vibe I'm carrying it w me for rest of the day now. Totally moveth'd at this moment. THANK YOU MusicalBasics what a GIFT my guy. Excellent. Just excellent
The only thing better than hearing a masterfully performed epic piece, is to watch one being performed by a musician who genuinely loves what he's doing.
I wouldn't call your performances "sacrilegious", I find them amazing. If people think that Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mozart, and all the rest wouldn't enjoy and or do something like this if they had this type of technology at their fingertips, they're foolish.
Absolutely this, they were the rockstars of their era and every single one of them borrowed from those who came before, and played with new and bold sounds. To think they would be anything less that enthusiastic about these reimaginings is absurd. They would LOVE this!
You make the classical artists proud, I have always stated that if they were alive in this era, THIS would be their work. Its a natural evolution of classical music.
Wow. I played violin from 6-13 then gave it up, wish I never had, promised id pick it up again one day. Kim, wow. Coz I always look at the violinist despite the main act. Wow! That was amazing! If ever I needed inspiration, that was it! I’ve only got two strings left, but I’m gonna sell it, upgrade and violin on! Kudos!
Growing up with two Profesional musicians as parents one a pianist and another a singer and dancer I find this so fascinating. The breadth of talent and to be frank the f ING bad ass talent and fun I am so happy.
LOVE IT. THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN! YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL, PLAYFUL, AND CREATIVE. SPIRIT! I'M 73 AND HAVE BEEN LISTENINT TO THE FOUR SEASONS FOREVER. YOU REALLY PUT LIFE INTO IT. BRAVO AND TEARS!
Excellent! I think if Vivaldi and Chopin were alive today, they would probably do the same with their music. After all, Chopin was considered radical in his time and Vivaldi's four seasons is a favorite no matter what. I think these performances do for classical music what Hooked on Classic did in the 70's--get people interested in listening to classical music. There is so much passion and beauty in it even if you dubstep it or spice it up like this--you can't take away the beauty in the melodies and the runs. My fingers twitch just listening to it.
I love Vivaldi but this was exceptional and beyond words. Love not knowing what to expect. I give. This performance a standing ovation! I enjoyed seeing the performer enjoying himself. What a delight!!!!!
This man just does not miss he has consistently amazing peformance. As a person currently learning piano it must've taken so much time and dedication to get to that level
seriously? the guy is terrible! horrible technique and no rhythmic discipline at all. come on you people. 17k likes and no single dislike?? are we joking here?
So inspired by this. This is what young people want today--Master the fantastic tradition. But make it their own by injecting their spirit there. Wonderful! That's what art of each generation has been doing and should continue to do.
I have no idea about classical music, or even any music for that matter, but man this gets you in the feels. The mix between classical and dubstep beats behind, what a combo
I love this fusion stuff. I really wish it would be possible to get these baroque composers into our time and see what they come up with being locked in a room with a sampler and a sequencer.
As a professionally trained concert pianist I was very judgmental of his video titles, I was thinking he was just going to clown these amazing authors; but I’m extremely happy to be surprised at what he has achieved and the results are beyond amazing!! I’m definitely going to see him live wherever he is performing!! If anyone has information about his presentations please be kind to share with me!! Thanks in advance!
Believe me, the pianist isn't relaxing at all XD They have to use two hands individually to perform what's often two separated complex score ideas, simultaneously, all while the feet hit the pedals, which is the reason they *need* to be sitting. Also: Violinists can sit too, you know. She's choosing not to. It probably has something to do with focus and even comfort, as violinists don't have to worry about their elbow hitting any obstructing surfaces behind them if they are standing up.
Just now seeing/hearing this. A couple of weeks ago, a friend (unfamiliar with Four Seasons--how?) really didn't like classical. I tried explaining it was like Rock back, way back, in the day. Should have presented this. Outstanding.
I love seeing you smile while you play because it just shows that you are passionate about what you do! Sometimes I smile when I’m coding or doing math (probably not relatable LOL) 😂
I know that you'll be too young to remember when Vanessa Mae released Toccata and Fugue in 1995. But I got the same shiver and feeling that I was listening to something truly special as I did back then. Long may you continue to have fun with classical, in the dark days it's the artists that keep the light shining. ❤️
HOT DAMN! This is epic. And can we talk about that SMILE?!?!?!? I've never seen a classical musician be that happy before. Holy mother of remixes, Batman! I'm here for this.

You know.... I'm not a fan of dubstep at all. But I love "rockified" classical, particularly Four Seasons. I *ALMOST* skipped over this when it showed up in my suggestions and I saw it said dubstep, but I'm so glad I didn't. You got yourself another subscriber because that was seriously BADASS! I'd definitely pay to see you perform in person!
Wow! I am partial deaf hearing impaired but listening to music like this I FEEL !!! 🤍🤟🏻…! My daughter is young going to college she has been playing piano since little no lessons self taught I helped her she’s Sings Spanish and English and plays Mozart to R&B on the piano I just sent her this this ! "Badass violinist" was a massive understatement. She absolutely killed it! And yeah, they were probably having way too much fun; which, of course, is the whole point. Love to see it!
WIT VIOLIN PROFESSOR
YOUR VIOLIN PROFESSOR????
Mind blown. The traditional training to understand the entirety of this piece with such accuracy and then remix and condense it like that. Not only is it brilliant but it’s also masterful. Well done! (Vivaldi himself would agree)
Vivaldi just raises hands to back of his head jaw dropped, and screams LEETTTSSS GOOOO! as one does listening to this
Is Vivaldi reincarnated
Ditto!
I love it, it is so exciting I don't want it to quit!!!!!
I sadly disagree. From a performance point of view, this is brilliantly executed. But the remix fails to capture the nuance and tempo of each “season”, which is an integral part of this work.
This is proof that classical musicians were actually the rockers, the headbangers of their days.
Considering that Mozart was a bit of a rebel as well that sounds accurate
all they needed was electricity....
Encore!!

The smile on his face says it all. He’s just thoroughly enjoying the remix…as am I.
You’re an absolute genius. You have created your own special style, I love it!
What the style, it's difficult to listen to.
I found this on by accident after Moonlight Sonata remix. The joy on your face makes my heart happy. Genius arrangement and masterful execution.
Do you even piano, bro??
Kidding, that was absolutely gold!
I wouldn't call your performances "sacrilegious", I find them amazing. If people think that Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mozart, and all the rest wouldn't enjoy and or do something like this if they had this type of technology at their fingertips, they're foolish.
agreed
He's probably using the term in a lighthearted, inb4 snobs sort of way.
They would be delighted .
Absolutely this, they were the rockstars of their era and every single one of them borrowed from those who came before, and played with new and bold sounds. To think they would be anything less that enthusiastic about these reimaginings is absurd. They would LOVE this!
disagree, they would probably be just underappreciated metal musicians. ^^
Violinist is a bad ass and she made that piece
Vivaldi would be blown away! I'm 73 and it made me start to cry because it is so creative!
Enjoyed the violin music showing up as picture-in-picture
Definitely a musical genius here
You make the classical artists proud, I have always stated that if they were alive in this era, THIS would be their work. Its a natural evolution of classical music.
I would definitely like to see more duets with that violinist!
Word is, she's an awful lay.
@@PP-ed9cf she only has to do one thing well and it starts with a "B". (She's cute, though.)
@@econecoff1725She'd be rubbish at playing a flute - her lung capacity is probably terrible! As a violinist though, her hands are very fast...
Yes she's phenomenal!!

Growing up with two Profesional musicians as parents one a pianist and another a singer and dancer I find this so fascinating. The breadth of talent and to be frank the f ING bad ass talent and fun I am so happy.
I'll be looking forward to seeing you perform in Tokyo. Please make it possible.
Hard to believe the talent these two both displayed. I'm in awe.
This and the guy’s Moonlight Sonata vid are slowly restoring my shattered faith in TH-cam’s recommendation algorithm.
LOVE IT. THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN! YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL, PLAYFUL, AND CREATIVE. SPIRIT! I'M 73 AND HAVE BEEN LISTENINT TO THE FOUR SEASONS FOREVER. YOU REALLY PUT LIFE INTO IT. BRAVO AND TEARS!
holy f***... getting goose bumps all the time... absolutely genious!!!
I love watching somebody who absolutely and thoroughly ENJOYS what they are doing. I make me feel happy.
Mozart gets wrecked on one of his coca laced wine nights and he decides to uptempo Vivaldi to what he heard in his head.....magnifico Mozart. Bravo
All I can say is ....
........ WOW !!!!!!!
