- We visit our first Warners motorhome and campervan show in Newbury, Berkshire where we enjoy the sunshine and have a lovely time celebrating our anniversary AND.... spend a small fortune.
At the end of this video we will give you our honest view of the show.
This is episode 126 in a series of videos cataloguing our post retirement adventures. We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our two dogs Archie and Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.

So sorry to hear that. I hope you have lots of happy memories to cling onto. We are very fortunate to both still have our health and to enjoy travelling together. Tomorrow is not a promise, so we want to make sure we make the most of it. I hope that may be in a little way we can bring you with us and give you some enjoyment. 🙏❤️

Congratulations to you both on your anniversary. It came over so funny especially knowing how much you loved the presents given to Sue! Sounds as though they will come in handy for you both lol. It is lovely to see you at times driving Kath, makes it very interesting to see the road ahead. Glad you had a good visit to the show. Were there companies who hire out campers and motorhomes?
🤣 Yes we have been together for 24 years so ‘useful’ gifts are definitely preferred, especially as we live in such a small space. Even a new T-shirt means throwing another one away. I didn’t notice any companies hiring Motorhomes but I’d be surprised if they weren’t there. There were lots of traders selling new and used Motorhomes. 🙏🤗🚌❤️

Happy anniversary guys , we went Sunday and we agree with what you said about the unhealthy food as we are vegetarian, so hopefully next time they will think about a vegan food truck .

Been thinking about getting those for a while but heavens, they’re pricey!!! I’d hoped to get to vanlife festival this year as it looked great when you went last year but we’d already booked to be far far away in our van. So saying hello from the not so sunny but incredibly stunning Isle of Harris! 🚐⛴️🌦️🙏☀️🐶🏴xx
Oh wow!!! I have to admit being a little envious. We never managed to get there last year due to Sue father passing so it’s still on the list. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
It’s well worth the trek so I’m sure you’ll be seeing it soon!…. Incredible ‘lunar’ scenery and lots of wonderful beaches Blue seas even on the dullest day. (Of which we’re having plenty.!) We’ll be soon seeing the other islands too. The strange thing is the absence of trees which we are so used to aren’t we?! It will make for very different walks and runs that’s for sure. I just hope Archie would get sufficient appropriate walking spots❤🐶⛴️🚐🏴 Take care. X
