    why the chemical exergy is considered?

      Exergy of a stream is calculated by adding its physical, chemical, potential and chemical exergy values. Usually, potential and chemical exergy values are smaller in magnitude, and are considered negligible. Hence, the total exergy value is calculated as the sum of physical and chemical exergy values for a stream. Hope that helps!

    Can we make a hybrid model with absorber and membrane for co2 capture from flue gas

      Membrane system is not present in Aspen. For this, one has to do programming using Aspen Custom Modeler, and then exporting that model to use in Aspen Plus.

      No. It will always be a positive number.
