There is a series of hidden steam achievements for this game that unlock some cool out of bounds areas, the trick to unlocking these is going around the island and completing the tasks as fast as possible, if you can do the main game goals first, in under an hour across the island there will be large Chalices that spawn. After those spawn you'll have to solve a couple small in-engine puzzles that are pretty clever and creative! The puzzles are honestly really great, after all the steam achievements are unlocked, a single steam achievement that allows you to self succ!
you guys know you can just gather friends and go running around outside whacking cardboard cutouts with doodles on them as an adult right no one's stopping you if you do it in the right places
Its kind of melancholic. The story is a little sad too because his sister grew up and doesn't have time or want to play with him anymore but hes trying so hard just to spend some time with her and have fun.
wow, toward the end when you talk about how you prefer to be alone but still like to go out sometimes, how you described it is exactly like me. i live and prefer to be alone, i like my alone time but i do like to sometimes hang out or chat with friends in vr. and ive also always felt the same about games. everyone said "youll grow out of games" well im in my 30s now and im still loving games, probably more than ever now that im out of college. its not really something you grow out of, unless you want to. its unfortunate so many people think they need to "grow out of video games" just because its society has seen it as "childish" im glad more people are seeing the value of video games as a hobby these days, they help me relax and i just enjoy being engaged in what im doing, its far more entertaining to me than just watching or listening to something, when i actually control something im doing. in video games, theres so many things you can do, whole worlds to explore, different lives to experience. i dont think id be as happy without video games either
That's something I've come to embrace since discovering Vinny, I was always introverted even as a baby but the moment I became of age to drink everyone expected me to go out to the pubs and socialize everyday like they do. I tried to force that lifestyle because it was supposed to be "normal" and it only made it worse, I even went through severe depression from trying to scrub away my old self. Everyone I knew made me feel like I was some freak for not wanting to be around people constantly. In their eyes my entire lifestyle was wrong. It destroyed my mental state and I'm not even 30 yet. But ever since I found Vinny I'd realised I wasn't the only one like that, and realised that I wasn't the problem all along. It was them. The damage had been done though and I'm much more introverted than I ever was. Funny how that works. This shit is how cereal killers are made.. It's scary to think back on that dark time. I realise got a bit carried away, wasn't really the place for this but I wrote too much to just delete it. Oh well.
My dad and I have playing games together recently and I appreciate it so much because not only is it giving us more time together but I’m introducing him to the world of videogames. Which I think is really frikin cool! It’s never too late :)
@@Snooopy28 My fiance and I got a kitten recently. I didn't have a pet most of my life, so that additional responsibility is new to me. Absolutely worth it, though.
I feel like the one-game streamers have an audience that are investing in the game, rather variety streamers like Vinesauce have an audience that invest in the streamer's personality over anything else. That's my thought on why Vin is able to find success in playing this game and just going into Hitman.
I really enjoyed this stream/game and I'd love to see Vinny come back to it - I liked hearing his musings during the last 10-20 minutes of youth/boredom, and if it's only a 4 hour game, it probably would only need one more part, maybe two more at most to finish more than likely
This probably isn't the place for this, but anyway: Growing up, it was tradition for me and my brother to get each version of whatever Pokemon game was coming out at the time. The moment I knew everyone else was growing up and moving on around me was when I bought my brother Omega Ruby and he didn't touch it. I always liked videogames as a way of connecting with people, but now that the people I grew up with are "too old" for videogames I find myself supporting indie devs and joining an indie dev community as an alternative to this. It's why I want to collab with people on Newgrounds and make the graphics and artwork for their game, as a means of giving back to the industry that helped me socially and creatively. Anyway, good cute game. It made me feel emotions.
You think Vinny is going to do a tonal shift by going from an adorable exploration game to a violent shooter. Instead, he takes a break to shit himself inside out due to receiving a cursed waluigi reliquary in the mail. That kind of subversion is why Vinny is my favorite streamer.
This is a nice game, but it makes me kinda sad. I didn't really have these experiences growing up. Ironic, considering I have 3 siblings. I was also a bit of a loner despite really wanting friends. So, I just kinda played on my GBA in the corner.
I know Vinny doesn’t read the comments, but his stomach might have hurt because he took over the recommended dose of Night/DayQuil. The medicine contains acetaminophen, and too much can cause pretty rough stomach pain.

What a nice game. I hope the person playing it won’t have aggressive bowel movements and intestinal discomfort during it
it’s such a cute wholesome game. It’d be such a shame if the person playing showed us Scooby Doo vore.

what a strange comment to see only 12 minutes in :/
It would be a shame if the person playing it dropped sombering wisdom about caring for your inner child
God dammit!
Amazing comment.
Can't believe Vinny left the stream to go to a slime convention just a half hour into it.
