  • I'm working full time and going to school so I don't have much time lately, but this is an easy one I've been meaning to record for a while. It's kind of hard to find live performances of this song because the title is also the name of Thom's other band, but I found one and this is how he plays it live. Also, what the heck does "flying saucer eyes" mean. You're weird, Thom.

    first time ever attempting to play a piano here & I can't read music or anything, but thanks so muchhhh ahaha.
    I'm thinking Thom is playing with the phrase "eyes as big as saucers" and the idea of a flying saucer/UFO. I imagine some huge, wide, strange eyes... I think it's lovely, weird in the best way :)
