- Here is a video I taped at the Latitude Festival in England on the 19th of July 2009, it's Thom Yorke singing Atoms For Peace, a track from his solo album The Eraser. I was at the very first row of the crowd with a Panasonic Lumix TZ7 (720p with stabilized 12x zoom).
As you can notice I had some difficulties to be stable at the beginning of the song because of all the photographers, and besides I also had my cellphone in my other hand with a friend on the line (same friend who told me about the festival but couldn't come).
"What, dear? I"ll be home later, dear."
The quality of this video is incredible
Merci beaucoup, Guitou!
Brilliant videos man, HD is the best :D
what camera did you shoot this with? the quality is ace! is it the Canon Mark ii 5d by any chance?
great work! please if you have 'true love waits' can you put it up? THANK YOU
♥♥♥♥ ☺☺☺☺
Very true. But I don't know, he's had kids for a while now. This seems like a very recent change. Maybe it was the shirtless jogging in Rio. :P
Either way, it's so good to see him smiling more.
he messes it up a little bit at times, but we love it the way it is don't we :)
3:42 amazing voice, the best
"clapping because I don't know what I'm doing"
i just have.
"What dear?"
opps just read the full description sorry -_-
clap along, i think he says..
what's that tag on his jeans?
No point to clap along, cause he has no idea what he's doing.
Last year I left my job after many straining months of hard work with little pay, but I left with no perspectives, and eager to try a career in music. As soon as I left the office on my last day, this exactly recording of this song started playing on my iPod. As soon as he said "I want you to get out and make this work", I wept and I knew that everything would be OK. Today I'm a struggling artist, with a recorded album and lots of challenges ahead. But I'll never forget this song.
I know he is very warm. Not in a hokey I love you so much Coldplay way, but in a Ghandi type of way. Thom has a reputation for being doom and gloom but he seems to be very sensitive to the people and the world around him. His music shows us just HOW DEEPLY he feels. The music is not dark but people always act like Radiohead are morose. I think Thom Yorke sees the world as it is and shares in everyones love and pain and writes the soundtrack for our journey.
He is the embodiment of empathy.
NO MORE FALLING DOWN A WORMHOLE THAT I HAVE TO PULL YOU OUT. FANTASTIC!
thank you. this is great. jealous of all that were there......
"peel all your layers off I want to eat your artichoke heart" I am in love with that line!
ROFLMAO!!!!!
I hope you got that my sentiment was ANTI-coldplay.
I used the word hokey didn't I?
U are funny kid. GREAT COMMENT!!!!!
The 5D Mark II shoots in full HD (1080p), my camera is a Panasonic Lumix TZ7 and shoots in HD (720p).
Ha!
I'm still set on the idea that he used Sun-In hair lightener before he went on his South American beach jogs. Either way, it does look great. : D
And I guess more to the point - Atoms for Peace really is a beautiful song.
