    Back rest and highway pegs are a must, and you have to have both for maximum comfort - can’t put your feet up without having something to lean back on. Those are my only must-haves, and I’ve kept the same back rest and highway pegs over 4 different Harleys. I do like those mirrors! Thanks BoDean and ride safe.

      Totally agree and having a backrest is such a big deal, I do pull it off when I ride with the wife

    I don't use my highway pegs much, but I agree that they are a must have. When you gotta stretch out, you gotta stretch out!

    Been thinking about a phone mount but I am a professional procrastinator with years of experience. I do have the highway pegs they are a must. A must for me is the windshield bags. I keep my kickstand plate in there where if I need it I can putt it out and drop it to the ground. You never know when you may need to park somewhere where the ground may not easily support the weight of your bike.

    I find the pegs are a nice addition, I put my phone in the saddlebags when I ride and have my sena hooked up through it so I don't need the phone on the bars. I love my mirrors, Willie g, but I almost use my head turning more so now since the bike accident last year. I would put a backrest as my #3. Along with the pegs they work great. My #2 would probably be my windshield, the stock one is just to low and for the distances that I do, I need the protection, and the wind buffer is awesome. Cheers, 😎😎😎

    🛑🛑 My Favorite Accessory on my Harley is Sirius Radio.
    I’ve used Cell Phones Paired to the Bike, however riding through the Hills and
    Valleys of Western Pennsylvania; constant cell phone coverage is a bit “spotty”.
    With Sirius Radio, you take your channels with you regardless of location or “topographical hindrances”, and you are not “chasing up and down” the dial looking for a station to listen to or waiting for the cell tower to “reattach” to your phone.
    With Sirius Radio, lock in your favorite channels and ride effortlessly on Classic Rock, Channel #25 or Classic Vinyl, Channel #26.

    Nice! I agree with the highway pegs, must have for long trips!! Then we split a bit, my next would be the backrest, again, for long trips, it’s great! Number 3 would be the powerport(s), to charge the phone, and batteries for cameras, I also use it to blow up my air mattress when camping 😂😂, I’m old!! It’s all about comfort now. Be safe, Patrick

    Goldwing, backrest, highway pegs cup holder. Phone goes in the pocket Apple CarPlay. My BMW phone holder, I prefer the quad lock with the vibration dampener and wireless charging head over the Ciro. Tank bag and seat.
    Pan Am not sure yet, lol. Do have my phone mount on it cause it is easy to move from bike to bike.
    I use my highway pegs when 2 up all the time. She also has highway pegs from Ciro. I think they are making them now for the HD as well. Donna would like them. Just saying.

  • @HarleyThrottleJuice
    @HarleyThrottleJuice 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah, three worthy upgrades for sure.
    I use my highway pegs a lot out on the highways and rural roads, at 6”3 they’re a must!
    I have a Quad Lock phone holder which is fantastic, however to be honest I’m considering removing it, as I don’t really use the phone at all on my bike.
    *I initially got the phone holder to manage multiple GoPro’s, now I just have two which are manageable without an app. 😉

    I’ve tried Highway pegs and I’m just not comfortable using them for whatever reason, I know I’m in the minority here. I actually like to move my legs back from my forward controls to like a mid mount area but again I’m odd.
    Phone mounts are key for me as I don’t have any navigation or audio on my bikes. Been happy with quad lock so far but always interested in seeing other brands doing it
    Great job Bob. Have a great weekend of riding hopefully!

    I have the same highway pegs on my RKC and do make difference when cruising down the highway for long periods. I put on some knock off mirror, not the split, but have similar stems my original mirrors gave out kept drooping once you hit a bump. Ordered a phone mount getting ready for 500 mile plus trip, so figured need least some tunes to break up the highway boredom lol.

    I have two of your three. I have the Kutyakyn switchblades Highway pegs, the Ciro3D phone Mount, (I have the powered one because I ride a Road King). I love your mirrors but, I’ll have to see if they look good enough on my Road King before I make the plunge for them. Not so sure they will be ascetically appealing. Great stuff though. Thanks a ton. 👍

    I agree with highway pegs! Essential for stretching out. I don’t use them much as I feel they increase the response time to applying the rear brake but at the same time I do like to stretch out when I feel it’s safe to do so. Phone mount? Heck no, it goes in my jacket pocket or saddle bag. Those mirrors are cool but I prefer the old school round mirrors that I’m rockin on my Road King.

    I have the Ciro 3 phone mount as well and agree with your assessment of it. I've also got the Kuryakyn highway pegs although I don't use them as much unless I'm on a longer ride. My next must have accessory is the HD backrest. Having had back surgery I can't do without it. I would love to have a set of the split vision mirrors but HD doesn't make them in black to match my blacked out bike. Maybe soon. My other must have accessory is the tour pak lid organizer. It's amazing how much stuff you can put in those and help keep your tour pak semi organizer.

    • @BoDean52
      @BoDean52  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Take a few stones to the knuckles but please don’t put those hideous looking hand guards on your bike and if you do I will unsubscribe to your page. Just kidding about unsubscribing to your page but personally I hate the looks of those guards.
