I was super disappointed that full Rust In Peace death metal cover lost the poll, I was almost certain it would win but we lost in the end unfortunately. I hope that one day you do decide to do a full album cover of Rust In Peace in this style, it would've been fascinating to see how you would've transformed Mustaine's riffs and those perfect solos throughout the album!

This was incredible! I love what you did with the classical riff, did you switch it to Phyrgian mode? Had that middle-eastern vibe, and reminded me of the band Melechesh. Then breaking into that whiplash creating groove, perfection! Love the contrast between that and the slow monstrous grooves, and the solos were beautiful. The whammy hit right before they started is a cool unique touch! I'll love a death metal Lightning too, but I made the right vote for Master with this banger to go by 🤘

Also an unexpected super benefit I got out of watching: I finally realised where I should put and fix the bloody whammy bar to be able to use it easily both ways without it getting in the way of playing. Thanks a lot for that, quite a discovery after 25 years of playing guitar 😂

Thanks! Well, to answer it in the short way; I seek for "evil" notes and change the riffs into such an atmosphere. Then, I play it in different tempos to see which one suits the riff in the best way, but sometimes I'll revert them from the original state. Modifications are always present, there are times when more changes are needed to fit the vibe. I may do detailed videos on Patreon about these things.
