With your attention to detail, these surreal miniatures have been some of my favorites. A small suggestion for an idea: a miniature of a shed or similarly small ish building, but have the ground on the outside look like the flooring that should be inside, then build the inside to look like an outdoor forest scene, slap a mirror in the back to give it a false sense of being bigger on the inside and boom, you've got a woods in the cabin.
This is such a cool diorama, I really like the surreal stuff, cool seeing weird things in actual physical space. I’d love to see you try and make some optical illusions, like an abandoned room with the curtains and furniture all making a face, or those diagonal mirrors that make it look like there’s a winding infinite corridor in a small space. Would be dope to see in your style
How about trying a baba yaga house (maybe you already did this) or an empty head (window panes for eyes) that is an abandoned warehouse or home (thinking cluttered and abandoned memories scattered about like mental blocks), making it creepy and sad or both, or neither and go happy with it :D
I am always so impressed with your concepts and innovative builds - and your narration is the perfect compliment, creating most enjoyable videos. Thanks!
If you have vivid dreams, I would love to see one made into a diorama. Vivid dreams are so surrealistic but when we see them, it feels real. So when we wake up, they feel even more disturbing. Ah 💙
This is awesome. H.R. Giger has created some awesome rooms . Maybe that style is something for you, even tho they`re highly detailed . Love your build as always!
What a really cool idea!! This is really inspiring, I can very easily see this taking place in some sort of Nightmare on Elm Street kind of movie or game. I would love to see more stuff like this!
I think it would be awesome if maybe you could do a diorama of a campfire set with a fire tent maybe some trees but the best part is you make the inside of the tent awesome looking! Almost like an illusion where it looks small from the outside but much bigger on the inside! And with your style added I think this would look amazing!
oooh, I am loving this world you're making. You've got the doors in the forest, now you've got a cabin, maybe a room with some mirrors and mannequins? I think whoever finds themselves in that room would need to try and figure out if they're the real person or if they're a mannequin. Play into some imposter syndrome with it.
This is the stuff of my dreams! But ugh finishing a major part to end deciding it’s not quite what you thought so you start it over to get that aha! look you want. I’m gonna do some serious thinking of surreal inspiration…conceptual photography thoughts made 3D…like maybe something Gaudi inspired but hundreds of years in the future when nature has taken over. Inspired by nature and devoured by nature…
I love working with real wood on models you cant beat it, can I ask where did you get the styrene roof sheets from? end result is epic, thanks for showing
@@AbandonedMiniatures thank you, I loved building that church and it5 came together well thanks. I will look into getting roof tiles as it was such a long process doing it the way I did lol. keep up the good work
I can't put into words how much i love this 😮 not only is it a bloody good diorama, the filming brought so much life to it. I'm truly envious of this lol. Also an idea for the surrealism style, another cabin like house, but held by a demonic octopus creature, like the kraken or Cthulu?
Almost everything about this is right kool. I like the imagery, I like the surreal spooky world you are creating. In the final design I agree completely the bigger skull works right perfect. I think the only stuff I'm not as keen on is 1: the windows and 2: the internal lighting. The house is a mix of "old and potentially abandoned" by the yard/moss/overgrowth on the exterior, but the windows are too clean and untouched. Would have been kool to see them at LEAST dirtied most, possibly some partially blocked with years of debris nestled in them. Or broken/cracked/possibly have vine growth painted/added across some of them. The lighting is nice but for the glamour video clips having some method to get a dim amber glow that flickers or modulates randomly would have better implied a fire. . Personally having a wood cutters stump with axe outside woulld have been nice. But I do understand you were out of your comfort zone a bit with q smaller model and the difficulties of losing detail alongside a lot fo your usualy techniques/materials not quite matching that size. If you end up going small a few more times, think of the overall ambiance/feel more than singular subjects/simpler vignette's. Give the viewer plenty to immerse and pour over instead of a smalll moment in a single room thats superdetailed and fairly realistic. . This DOES make me someday wonder what it'd be like to see you work with more scale sizing and do a smallish abandoned town or street just for the fun tricks with lighting, camera angles, smoke, etc you could play with. With the projectors and screens you have as well you could stagger shots to extend into the projected background to add numerous other effects.. . I know.. I'm goin way too grand. ;) Keep at what you are doing. And absolutely keep at the mind bending world you are starting to bring together!!!
@AbandonedMiniatures I have a school project *still not fully done * I had to make a wood cabin and it takes soo long to cut the wooden sticks and then join them without a mess 😭I have thrown away 5 wood cabins so far 💀
Very faithful to the original picture. Skulltastic!
Thanks Knarb! YT tells me you’re a top commenter 😁
Great job. I'd love to see your take on an abandoned movie theater.
Turned out killer, man! I like seeing you work in a smaller scale. You should definitely do more!
Thanks dude, I will definitely have to do some more!
I like this directly you’re taking very much!
Cork bricks is a great idea!
very cool.
One of my favorite you created!
Dude! This is pretty sweet!

I appreciate that Studson!
Looks fantastic !!!
That is truly incredible Nic, so so so cool!
Thanks Nick!
Very cool
Thanks Dan!
Really super concept, I did enjoy this video, thanks.
Your attention to detail is incredible
You are giving me ideas for a fantasy role playing game adventure with a floating fortress set in half of a giant skull. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic job, as usual
This is giving The Evil Dead to me, was waiting for the blood rain to start any second lol. Amazing work as per usual!
Accidental or otherwise, I really like the hint of things inside the cabin. More to draw the viewer into this world.
Awesome!!!
Thanks!
This build was unreal and so eerie! I'd love to see you build something from Phil Tippet's Mad God.
One word, WOW nice work again perfect
Thanks!!
I love the idea of this other world. I can't wait to see more.
Perfect.
Thanks!
Absolutely stunning piece ... love it! 😄
Love your work. the picture you took of the finishing product looked like it was a horror movie poster.
Thanks so much!

Great job!
This is awesome! I love the layout for this one, it flows so nicely!
Thanks Noelle!

Mannequins are super creepy, would be fun if I could pull it off!
@@AbandonedMiniatures At the very end of the video the mannequin can turn and look out the window at the camera :D
This turned out great! Hope you have some plans for the smaller skull you were going to use first. Hate to see all that work go to waste.
Thank you!!

Thanks! I talk a bit about how I do some of my filming work in this video, but I use a Sony A7Siii

Have you thought about doing a piece in your dream world with some sort of figure hidden in the structure?
Have you ever done anything like a big scale? Last of us kind of cityscape, overgrown derelict that sort of stuff?
I haven’t, would love to but sounds daunting! @nscaledystopia does some cool stuff
😍😍😍😍
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🇧🇷
WOW WOW WOW!!! This is lit. Fucking amazing dude!! wow! Keep doing this! Maybe abandon cemetery!
Hlo sir which paint are you using?
I wish it was as easier as it seems 😭
So do I 😂
