Lets_PS4 They had adjustable wastegates IRL. The 80's had some crazy turbo F1 cars, with little regulations on engine life and such. The Lotus was capable of 1300+ HP, but the engine would destroy itself from the amount of boost. So they used super sticky tires and a LOT of boost for the qualifying lap, then swap the engine with a new one for the actual race. I think they only raced with about 500HP, but used almost double that for qualifying.
rutger harmeling The 1-0 number row changes boost levels in Assetto Corsa. I want to say the Lotus is the only one you can change the boost level on the fly.

The first one is a mclaren mp4/18 and that car always had a merc logo on the wheel because the engine builder for mclaren was Mercedes back then. Mercedes also started their f1 team in 2010 thats way before the mp4/18 existed.

There are. Each surface in the game has a specific config for it. It's likely that the dirt on this track reacts differently than just tarmac.

your boost in the lotus is on 60% you can (don't know how) but you can change it to 100%
