- Understanding the art of farming through the lenses of Caleb Karuga, our guest for today.
Caleb Karuga, pursued his Degree in IT, then became a journalist at K24, narrates to us how he transitioned from on screen to owning an entire farm - Wendy Farms. Famously known as The Farmercist, we get to understand the beauty of farming, through him.
We get to understand the farming niche, the advantages and challenges that come with farming.
"Would you prefer self - employment to employment? Given you've experienced both in equal measure?" - Jeff Kuria
"I wouldn't say either is better than the other, given we can't all be farmers, we can't all be entrepreneurs, all that matters is giving your best within your niche"- Caleb Karuga - บันเทิง
He should be Agricultural minister. I love his knowledge
He is wise we agree
I had thought about this too before I come to comments,, Riggy G should watching this
Isn't this man passionate about what he's doing!
I loved every moment of this interview.
Thank you Jeff for bringing this man.
Thank you for watching I appreciate you
Ilv this job nipe namba yake
Commendable work men......tho you've spoke Kikuyu language, I have captured one to three message tru your gesture, your address in kiswahili and English sometimes have enabled me joint dots .Keep it up good work ....
We are over reliant on maize, potatoes, karati, mboga, etc. it’s true when that cash crop fails, we having nothing to feed ourselves and rely on handouts from everyone else.
Listening to Mr Karuga, I see there is hope for Africa. Kudos.
Caleb wisdom is always topnotch i admire his work.I am still procrastinating on monetizing my farming hope to get there soon
You are one of genuine, admirable modern farmers. The kind needed in today's Kenyan leadership. Reality, passion on what you do best and broad minded to facing Tomorrow .Inspire, educate, and keep up. Mot of all be in line of leadership
He inspired me to farm
I also leased a land few weeks nitapanda vitunguu
Man full of wisdom
Wow! This is a very comprehensive interview, my take home is ; when you are employed use that money that is guaranteed at the end of the month, to create a side hustle.
Thank you Caleb and Jeff.
Thank you Jeff. You're not just a journalist but a brilliant one. The story is so real & practical.
Very educative
The truth is in this video is a true reflection of Kenyan situation,....if the talk was Caleb Karuga nudes , everyone would be here , the video would be having at least 100k views but since Kenyans hate learning and hate the truth , the videos can never get there. I feel this is a very informative video on matters of farming
I resonate with you Caleb, i love seeing growth; from a seed to a full grown plant. It's exciting!!!
Very interesting video,am getting rich in knowledge about farming cause I plan to join the farming family.
Last year is when I came to know karuga. Am now a farmer following his steps👏👏👏

I've a somewhat similar interest. Farming has been a side hustle for many years. You learn in the process, the satisfaction is more in growing your own food.

Tafadhali usiache kuuza nje. Inawezekana kuwa kuna hitaji hapa nchini lakini pesa zipo za kutosha ukilinganisha na soko la nje?

A lot of sense especially on those fringe products without market. Remember quail eggs? the marketing was superb, they were stocked in supermarkets. I used to wonder who eats them! the sight is nauseating
Great point!
karuga welcome on set
Part two please 🙏
We will have a part 2
Wow! Very informative. Thanks, Jeff.
I would like to get in touch with him. Asante
Please do! He shared his socials
I am very admiring the talk because of how workers behave I am a hotelian as well and a farmer 😂.But then farming is the best becoz there is no K.R.A, NO GAME FUND,NO MUSIC FUND NO NHIF NAME THEM...... I LOVE FARMING AGAIN WHAT I GROW IS WHAT I TAKE IN A HOTEL FOR PPLE TO EAT.

Is there an English version & some of your followers don’t understand, you never know some of us might be investors
Language barrier for us who can't understand the language
Does he offer mentorship would want to visit the farm
Yes he does kindly contact him
Absolutely true 😅most Kenyans in general even in the Diaspora are very selfish with sharing ideas due to wanting to get richer than anyone else 🙄
That is not right
Was wondering where he went?I have learned alot on farming
I’m glad you grasped something keep on
I wish he was the one who is renting my land in oloitoktok.
Keep up the good work. Does he train?
Yes he does
Insightful...
