If you do not have confidence you will fail. If you have confidence, nothing will be a failure, just a great lesson in learning, Art is so subjective at any rate, you may think you have failed then someone comes along and buys your painting.

Love this painting, its beautiful. I am going to check out the Arteza paints. I am a beginner using a craft inexpensive brand and my colours are not vibrant enough for me. I have to do so many coats, and am just not satisfied with them in general. Thank you so much for the tutorial!

i´d be happy being able to do just half of what you did here
i would like to get more comfortable with the bigger brushes and just setting a sky and clouds but seeing you go in with the smaller brushes for detail really makes everything pop

So what would you rate the mixing ability in this set of paints? In the past I've got cheap sets of paints and have had major regret because the paints would not mix colors correctly.

Are these better than those daler rowney paints from walmart. I hate those things but its all I can afford theyre transparent. These look so good.
Have you tried going to a Michaels or similar place for your paint? You can find some bigger containers for pretty good prices I’m not good enough to talk about different brands but I used BASIC for school and some fun stuff and really like them. Stores like michaels also have really good deals and discounts or coupons.
Beautiful painting. Btw I noticed that you are using a wood pallet, how do you take off the paint from it cause I have one and I’m kind of scared to use it cause I don’t know how I would clean it.
Hahah at this point I think I've just accepted that everything I own is covered in paint so I've never tried to clean it, but I feel like warm water and a soft cloth would be good to try if you do end up getting paint on it. Especially acrylic tends to come off in a rubbery texture when it gets on sealed surfaces.
ALSO I JUST REALIZED I thought you meant the small easel it's on, but I realized I was using my wood pallet for this - and I just heckin let that paint pile up haha. I have it color coordinated as best as possible so that it doesn't get too weird and ugly, but really I have no idea how to clean it if I ever try! hahah.
MarsupialPudding I have tons of wooden palettes and you know those paint scrape razors? You should use one of those but be careful cause you can accidentally shave part of your pallet off but it gives the best results!
You could over the palette with cling film...🤔

I love the color saturation you get. that's not just the paint though, that's you being able to use color properly.
How'd you get Arteza to send you materials like that? did you contact them or did they contact you based on your youtubes?

How did you do the stars? When I use this 'tipping' on the brush, there are always those little 'splash-lines' that are ruining the painting... Can you please help?
Hi!😃 Have you tried a toothbrush? Stand about a foot or so away from your painting and move the brush as you flick to avoid the 'line' effect. Hope it works for you!😉
Oh, and do a test flick to practice before applying to your actual piece.🙂

Have you ever tried using acrylic airbrush paint instead? It is much thinner and easier to work with. Not the bottled acrylic craft paint.
