A wildlife rehabilitation center would probably accept the out of date dog food, some of the animals they feed are scavengers and…… well……. They do eat “out of date” food

Take the meds! People will still use them past the date. I read that medication is still good for 3 years past the expiration date.

Most expired meds ( Tylenol and such) will last 6 months to a year.
