@@Luxe_for_Less I recently ordered the Coach day signature tote bag in Tan and I’m honestly loving it. It’s a very pretty vintage design and I’m sure if you checked it out you’d love it too and I found out about DH gate through your channel which I’m so grateful for! I have ordered a bag from there and waiting for its arrival as well. I’m a student and I don’t really have the budget for luxury bags but when I see your channel, I can relate to you a lot and it brings me lots of happiness and confidence 🥹🥰🤍

@@nehamariah9541 Wow I just googled that bag and it’s stunning! Very chic!
Aww no way?! I love that! Yes that’s exactly it. Even if I had the money, there so many more important things I could spend that type of money on, like things for the home, life experiences with my loved ones etc.
Thank you for watching lovely, so glad you can relate 🥰

I’ve tried to reply to your last comment Kelly, but it keeps disappearing.
So instead of running on, I’ll ask you some questions in response.
Do you not consider what you are doing as promoting counterfeit products produced via illegal activity?
Do you know how these bags are made? (Sweat shops, poor and dangerous working conditions)
Where do you think the money goes? (Criminal organisations and associations with drug gangs)

I’m not sure what’s happening with your comments, but I’ve seen your last one.
And where exactly did you source that information from?
Alice, I’m sure you are a lovely person, but I feel like all you want to do is argue with me. I apologised if my video offended you. We clearly have very different views. I think designer items are unjustifiably expensive, there is so much that quite honestly I can’t be bothered to go into about how corrupt, money hungry and dangerous the fashion industry is but I’m not tying to force that down your throat because they are my views.
If I don’t agree with someone’s views/ content I will simply move on. I will totally understand and respect if you unsubscribe/ stop watching my content, the last thing I want to do is frustrate anyone.
Wishing you all the best 💚

I’m not trying to argue with you Kelly, but I think anyone who posts anything to the public for views should be open to criticism.
I’ve seen negative comments from your videos be removed, presumably by you and while you have the right to do that, I think you’re just ignoring some facts because they don’t suit you.
Unfortunately your videos are somewhat controversial because of these counterfeit products that you continue to show. I thought you wanted a conversation on this? That’s what I’m doing.
The fact you’ve taken someone disagreeing with you and pointing things out as being argumentative is making it quite obvious that you’re not open to an honest conversation on this.
I’m in no way accusing you of being solely responsible for a whole market of illegal activity but what you are doing is condoning it and promoting it with your content. I don’t honestly see how you could disagree with that, regardless of your reasoning.
I don’t think you should expect people not to question you on it or raise fair and valuable points when this is your content.
I also don’t really think illegal activity is down to a matter of opinion. It’s either legal or it isn’t and this isn’t.
I think what you’re doing is a massive contradiction and to be completely honest I think you are being selfish. You would never buy one of these bags because you probably couldn’t afford it, so you have no idea how real customers of these people are treated - previous commenters have told you as much and their comments have magically disappeared. You get these bags for free, you get the best of the best because these people know you will promote for them.
You clearly have no concept of the dangers of the industry and are quite happy to disregard it when someone like me suggests it. You are just doing it all for personal gain because you want a leg up on TH-cam. I have no respect for that.
I’m surprised you are not more worried about the trouble you could get into doing this. I think it’s unlikely and I hope for your son’s sake you don’t, but there’s obviously a chance, because once again it is ILLEGAL.
I won’t comment again, and I will be unsurprisingly unsubscribing because I’m clearly not your target audience and I really don’t respect your ignorance on this. I just really hope you give all of this some proper thought and hopefully find more legitimate businesses to work with.

@@aliceb6103lol, people who wear original bag should not feel threatened, instead they should feel confidence. I would be deleting comment if I were her too, I don’t wanna be bother for choosing my way of living life. even if I have enough money to buy the original one, I still prefer the one that made by same leather and cheap price. those designer should not feel threatened too. Not everybody is rich, not everybody want to spend that amount of money. so yeah please move on

The U.S. Department of Justice has stated that federal law doesn't prohibit shoppers from purchasing counterfeit products for personal use, even if they know they're fake.

    • @Annisaras
      @Annisaras 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

In the US, buying a counterfeit item is a legal impossibility- you never gain legal title.
If you “buy” with intent to distribute, you can definitely go to jail. If you receive counterfeit goods from a vendor, in the US there’s no legal penalty for possessing them.
To use a famous example, when OJ wax caught wearing a fake Rolex, no charges were brought even though prosecutors were begging for some way to jail him.

  • @aliceb6103
    @aliceb6103 26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Hi Kelly, I’m just genuinely curious to know how you would feel if you created your own brand one day that you were so proud of, but people were illegally producing and selling fake copies of your items?
To further promote their “businesses” they were “working” with small TH-camrs hungry to grow their channels, and these TH-camrs would try to encourage more and more people to illegally buy these fake items that they will never be able to sell on despite the hundreds of pounds price mark which the TH-camrs themselves clearly never pay for.
Im sure you will probably delete this comment but I really think that morally, you should keep it posted and allow viewers to decide for themselves.
Are you able to at least state the fact that this is illegal, that these bags despite being fake are still expensive (I’d question whether you would actually buy one out right yourself) and that once you have it, it will be very hard to sell it on and get any money back for it.
Please consider this, people really look up to TH-camrs and I think as you are clearly promoting these sellers, pretty consistently, you have somewhat of a responsibility to do this.

      Hi Alice,
Thank you for your comment. I decided to respond and not delete actually because I want an open conversation about this. Some agree and some don’t which is everyone’s right to their own view.
I personally don’t agree with the price tag that comes with designer items anyway and I think they are making more than enough money wouldn’t you agree, there have been so many things I’ve seen of people talking about how so many designer things are made in the same factories that a lot of lower tier and dupe/ replica items are, the only difference is not the quality it is the price this comes from the people who have worked for these companies.
Like many of my viewers it would be out of our budget to obtain certain items so as I am asked to review certain companies i do and I will always give honest reviews, there are brands I have said no to or refused to post a video due to quality and service issues.
On this channel I talk about topics that interest me, that is very much fashion and I’ve always loved bags. The fact I get to talk about them is such a honour for me and I also want to remind anyone that visits my channel that I make content to bring entertainment to people, I don’t have a gossip channel etc I’m not out to hurt anyone my channel is meant to be lighthearted.
My handbag reviews are my most watched videos, it is clearly something my audience is interested in, hence why I make content my audience wants to see. I am also very transparent in my videos. Yes I am keen to grow my channel, why wouldn’t I be, not out of vanity or anything else but out of a necessity to support myself and my son while doing something I enjoy and I have been working for nearly 3 years to be able to work and raise my son simultaneously.
If my content offends you I apologise sincerely, I also respect you have a different opinion to me, so respectfully I ask that if you don’t like my content please do not watch it 💚

Thank you for replying, I appreciate that.
I completely understand that your channel supports your son, and I think creating something for yourself is amazing, especially as a single Mum.
However just because you enjoy making the bag videos and people enjoy watching them, it doesn’t make it right.
By that argument, we could say that regardless of what the content is on the internet, as long as it is providing for someone and people enjoy it, it’s ok. When I think considering what is out there to be viewed, it absolutely isn’t.
Regardless of how much money a designer brand makes, counterfeit items are illegal.
Anyone who tries to sell one of your bags on platforms such as Vinted or Depop will be told just that and will be booted off.
I understand you aren’t trying to cause problems for anyone, and aside from these videos I enjoy your content. But the fact of the matter is, whether you and your subscribers agree or not, this is illegal.

@@aliceb6103 I don’t think showing a handbag online is morally wrong, like I said before I’m not spreading hate or gossip, I’m not making the bags I don’t go looking for them, I simply talk about things I have received. I am not spreading harmful content and try as best as I can to upset anyone, I however appreciate that you don’t like these videos which is fine.
I actually think it’s morally wrong to attach such a price tag that designers do to their items. The mark up on these items are astonishing and in my opinion are morally wrong but I appreciate that maybe we have different views when it comes to this.
The last thing I want to do is cause any negative reactions to my content so I apologise for the fact that my video has offended you to the point where you’ve felt like you had to leave me your comment 💚
