Overdraft have 2 percent interest rate more tham that of fixed deposit . It means you have to pay only 2 percent from your pocket. Remaining interest you will earn from fixed deposit .

Just for information it might be helpful.
As of 2024 March I was getting PL of 10L at 11% interest while OD I was getting at 14.5% on HDFC.
Weigh your processing charges on your offerings, as these are different for different people.
Koi bolte h ki OD ONLY 1-2% used payment ke uper hi interest lgta h or apne 14% bataya h samjha nhi me??

My question - Agar maine 3 lakh OD me 1 lakh use kar liya ,aur 1 saal tak interest diya then maine 1 lacs wapas se od account me transfer kar diya to kya mere paas phir se 3 lac ka loan amount ho gaya

and till what period it is interest free
you can directly transfer to od account through neft ,rtgs or cheque transfer.
or if you use 100rs from your od account then you have to pay interest on rs 100 only. rest all amount of od account are interest free.

Sir, if we have an od account and have presented a cheque to someone and by chance the balance in our savings account is lower than the said amount in cheque then can bank deduct the remaining amount from OD account to clear the cheque ?

mam please contact your bank where is your saving or salary account..mostly all pvt bank & govt bank provide overdraft on salary & saving account .
generally od intrest rate is more than 2% of fd amount.. suppose you have taken od of 1 lakh . and if you use 10k from your od account then you have to pay interest on 10k only rest 90k.will be interest free.
How much percentage we have to pay bank like for 10k we have to pay 1k for month..you have not mentioned calculation for this

Maine OD ke liye apply nehi kiya, Mera bank account statement main extra balance nehi dikha raha tha. But UPI se check karne se 43k ka extra balance show kor raha tha. Maine us balance ko transfer kar liya tha. Is liya mera savings account ta khara negetive main chal raha tha. Main thoda thoda karke wo balance recover kar raha tha. Likin kuch mahine ke bad balance dena band kar diya tha. Avi avi mera balance totally chuka diya hain. But bohot din balance nehi varne se un logone mera account ko NPA ghosit kar diya. Avi eska NPA charge 13k dikha raha hain. Please help kijiye, kya mujhe wo NPA penalty dena padega? Ya fir nehi dene ke liye keya karna padega.

हो मूळ fd चे पूर्ण व्याज मिळते , तसेच जेवढे दिवस तुम्ही OD घेतला तेवढ्या दिवसांचे व्याजही तुम्हाला द्यावे लागते.
