So I just ordered this gun. I was asked if I wanted two extra magazines. The gun comes with one green gas mag, and they asked if I wanted to co2 magazines. It was my understanding that I could just run the co2 mags. Do I need to do this in order to run the gun on co2?

It's alright but steel version is overpriced. In my opinion most realistic airsoft Glock out there and with CO2 kit doesn't feel so "airsofty". The springs aren't as weak as in others and it feels really solid. Finish is holding also up well compared to aluminium slide finishes.
@@2lbsTrigrPull I’ve seen a few videos where it worked correctly just gonna have to test it out and see, I don’t even really want the mag for shooting purposes I just like how it has the numbers and indents where the bullets would be

@@musicistheanswer8310 QC is quality control. When some parts are slightly out of spec they still find their way in production guns and so something like this can happen. It can be used as training tool for a real Glock pistol because operation is 100% that one of the real one. But wouldn't it be better to train with the real gun in the first place? If you want to do dry fire practices I would do it with the gun I actually use and not with some toys... 😄
What I found out about mine is it doesn't decock with the slide locked back. However... It does decock if you pull the slide 1mm further back. On a close inspection I figured out that the trigger reset on the slide is machined too thick. It can be fixed with a dremel I think. One of these days I'll get around to fixing it. A really odd mistake they made, btw. It was intentional to make it this way, it's "in spec". I guess they either didn't have real Glock on hand to compare, or odd measurement slipped through the QC. I saw other guys on TH-cam and it seems like we all have the same slide. Again, can be fixed with the right tools.
Such a great gun. GHK actually did a good job with the new trigger. Wish they sorted their other platforms out.

Does run on co2 in standard configuration too but I don't know how it will affect longevity.

The impossible decocking with co2 mags doesnt happen on mine, you might have an issue there
I guess just bad tolerances. Gun functions fine otherwise. GHK isn't known for ultra high QC.
