If you’re at a camp training kata, don’t slam the crap out of yourselves on the first set of NNK. (It’s gonna be a long day and there are four more sets to go.) If you’re training Kime No Kata, tape your toes or you won’t have any skin left on them. If they do testing at the camp, don’t volunteer to be uke for someone you don’t know. P.S. I learned all these by experience!
I cant believe that the camp was on portable matts in a basket ball stadium . I would reckon the injuries out number the benefit. Why would you do that. ???
Great question! The technology of tatami and the importance of ukemi (breakfall) is important. I was there at the camp and injuries based off tatami/mat being on the basketball court wasn’t an issue. The main issue of injury was more judo related such as gripping, posting out to not get thrown, etc
we need more judoka vloggers , i see alot of videos in the bjj community yet the judo community lacks , nice vid bro 👍🏾
I agree
Judokas don’t vlog much. And this channel will see more vlogging

Thanks brotha!
How do you find training camps and how to sign up for them?
Are these camps by invite or are they open to sign up for?
Sometimes I miss those days...so wonderful.
Made lifelong friends at these camps.

Worthless tips, he doesn’t say anything interesting. He even not answers the peoples with their questions.
