I wish Trump would give Erik a cabinet appointment!
He's already said he prefers not to be offered a cabinet position
Prince is too smart to serve in govt.
Me too
Erik is correct AGAIN!
Eric is always a wealth of knowledge. God bless him and all who strive to make the world a more safe and productive place.
Love the new set!!! And the audio quality is much better now too! 👌
I live in Cape Town, South Africa and what Erik says is fact. He is spot on about our country
Imagine if there was a resurrected Rhodesia in the middle of Africa.
the chance of our younger generations restarting this spirit might actually be there, our boer friends in suid afrika are already doing all they can to be a truly independent force.. we can only hope this idea of rhodesia is not dead yet.
@@jayzandstra1830If there is an idea there is hope
We need to seriously keep a eye on these unfolding situations and stop ignoring these fires.
I very much enjoy ERIC and his interviewer
Thank you for reporting this.
Great to see you! Always informative.
I notice a patern of "governance" that is shared by most of Africa and increasingly in the US (think LA). 🤔 better not notice outloud though
thank you for your input in all this
Los Angeles mayor Bass in Africa as fires rage?
I wish Erik would make documentary about all the nonsense he has seenbin his career.
Great job guys. I have witnessed the animosity toward the Chinese first hand in Africa. The West needs to get its act together now. Keep up the good work!
Love the map in the background - makes following Erik much easier!
Thank you for another great update. It’s unfortunate to see the decline of the African continent. It has always amazed me when seeing the different fractions at work there and the total disregard for human lives.
Tough as it sounds. Let them fight it out. Let the western world not get involved for once. Not our wars. Love the show guys.
Thank you gentlemen
I hope TRUMP LISTENS TO ERIC, his insight is very valuable.
I still can’t get over Benghazi
Great (depressing) sit rep on Africa here. Lets hope new admin coming in leads to improvements if/where possible.
Unfortunately, Africa is the Wild West and no amount of EXRTENAL aid is going to help their INTERNAL problem.
In retrospect, Colonialism doesn't look like it was so bad.
Best and most peaceful time Africa has ever had. Fact.
Some countries are meant to be colonies...... Ex. Haiti
Rhodesia is an example...
They don't call the African tropics the "Coup Belt" for nothing. Everything fell apart with Gaddafi's demise.
My friends in England should listen to this to understand why there is a huge influx of immigrants.
It’s why they left, but not necessarily why they arrived: there are pushes AND pulls in human movement.
That doesn't make it ok.
really enjoyed this episode with a map and going through it
I spent formative years growing up in Algeria and Nigeria and have also worked in many more coastal countries. Now in my 70s, I have concluded that Africa can't be fixed. It is ripe for exploitation.
Africa........historically, has always been in conflict.
Same with your country based on your little flag meme there
@@deathlarsen7502 Yeah, you are very intelligent on world history. Obviously, your knowledge of the Middle East is very short sighted. Go back at least 3,000 years and you'd get the scope of what really is going on, not what the so called "media" wants you to believe. Search "Hadrian 135 A.D", that'll get you started it, take the red pill. Soli Deo Gloria.
@@deathlarsen7502 Go back at least 3,000 years....and you'd get the context, take the red pill
@@deathlarsen7502 Keep erasing my responses.... troll
Ya and 🇮🇱 is the number 1 exporter of diamonds from these conflict zones through child labor. Willing to bet your country plays a large role in keeping these countries in chaos as they largely profit from it. Also ironic for you to judge other countries always being in conflict, perhaps you should stick to judging your own countries action as they've been terrorizing the area since they took control.
Gnarly truth in those conversations... Big problems globally
Our gooberment can't even govern LA (see fires) let alone project exceptionalism overseas
God bless you both
Eric gets what goes on in Africa. What you see in all these conflicts is not what you get.
I deployed to HOA in 2018 as Civil Affairs. I and some other CA and some of our veterinarians co-authored a paper on a regional redevelopment plan using historic and low-tech techniques (largely modeled on the 1800's development of Texas) that would restore the grasslands (it wasn't desert when I was born, it was rollling grasslands) for under a half million dollars.
No one in the command structure would support sharing the paper. It was not in the interests of leadership.
The nomadic herders are importing foreign powdered milk while the land could easily be transformed with simple and low cost methods that can be performed by any uneducated person.
Eric is brilliant to listen to
I always learn something listening to him
Wish he was in the upcoming govt in the DOD in some form under Hegseth
Remember how we mobilized our forces in Africa during the Rwanda Genocide! That was a real display of the humanity the West has to offer Africa!
What do they know. They are not from Africa... they are Americans..
The Brits need to be held accountable for supporting communism in africa.
Ummmm..... Since when .
Evil grows in cracks and holes
And lives in people's minds
Love Eric's full understanding of history as well as present situations. I cant believe this wealth of knowledge would not be looked at by the incoming administration. I bet there have been conversations thank God. That being said Prince looks like he's been behind the wire very recently accessing some situation and for that im grateful for him
Africa was relatively calm for a while when everyone was suffering from HIV. Odd how they have returned to their old ways. "Burkina Faso" translates in Dyula language as "Shithole Country".
I wonder how they got HIV?
Gathering that the new “ landowners” really can’t figure out farming..🤡🌎🤣🤣🤣🤣
1/3 of what parts of Nigeria are affected?
Who are we to go on a continent and tell them how to live ? European tried for decades in Africa and failed , they’re all being kicked out .
Message to Erik Prince. Unable to purchase the Unplugged Phone to be shipped to Australia. It is impossible to purchase from the website as it is only available for purchase for shipping in USA and Canada. Can you advise if or when it will be available to the rest of the world.
Thank you great show.
🙏🏼
Erik should have at least been considered for Def Sec
He never wanted that job, or any government position really. He can do more from outside government than within.
This isn't the Erik Price I have on tape.
What do you have?
Nightmare.
Eric I wish Trump would have you put a team together to protect the new administration and put a plan together to squash the insanity that will happen when he takes over. All hell will break loose I believe.
I appreciate his insight on Africa. I have wondered about it. So much power if it were focused. But I don't see what they would focus on. Maybe they need to focus on the Father. Hit them up with some beautiful Black Baptist Choirs, and realize anything is possible.
Black dude here. When I was in undergraduate school at Pepperdine, I did a presentation on boosting the US Dollar and investments abroad. I mentioned every continent save for Africa. A classmate of mine from Kenya asked me why I skipped Africa. I said what's the rush, in 25 years it'll be all new people. As the world stands now, governments have no clue about the diverse people of Africa, nor do they know how to combat the bad actors on the continent. It's always a half-assed solution that involves throwing money at a problem they are only making worse. South Africa (apartheid sucked) has destroyed itself. Namibia and Zimbabwe kicked out the white farmers who actually knew how to farm on an industrial scale. that worked out swimmingly for them. Africa is a mess and it's their own damn fault.
Black dude here.........OK?????
I see an Honorable man. A truly rare commodity today. How do Honorable men find a way to be useful with him?
Where do the generals keep their money?
EricPrince should be Sec Def instead of Pete….
I wish Trump had Prince for SECDEF
He said a thousand times he's not interested even if he was asked. Why do people comment saying this as if it's gonna promote the chances of it happening?
If you look at it carefully, my take from my Ora Report conflict model is that the US has left the East Coast of Africa with Russia bleeding out in every worsening jihadi clashes. Biden just paid Angola, West Coast, a visit, with $1 Billion. I'm sure it has nothing to do with finding oil in Namibia (Atlantic) or the Angolan Port of Lobito (Atlantic). Angola is a "mosque free" country.
I agree, AfriCom needs to be a bigger presence. Russia has failed. It's a humanitarian disaster.
Point of Correction to Erik prince I am South African and the is currently no black outs of poweror electricity for the current 290 days plus, and the hasn't been any interference on private property rights either by the Government or the ANC POLITICAL PARTY please be sure when you analyzing African issues
Illuminating
Mr Erik Prince is an unapologetic imperialist so I'm unsurprised by his submissions. For him, it's less about a feeling of racial superiority but more about financial gains. Its totally unmotivated by the illusion of what is best for the vulnerable class of Africans. But the groundswell of comments i see here is quite interesting, to put it mildly. If our leaders weren't mostly so open to being manipulable to the detriment of 'their people', this cascade of sickening comments wouldn't be here.
You must be the blonde who goes to Africa to save the world but you cheat on your husband.
Erik definitely needs to be in Trump's cabinet
His military experience and knowledge is impeccable
Africa? Oh no… Please. Please stop😴
There's going to be a huge wave of refugees I think. Recall that Ukrainian grain shipments into North Africa might greatly reduce. To my knowledge no one is replacing this.
Why is the other guy so red ?
🙏✝️🇺🇸✝️🙏
ALOHA
ABOUT THAT OBAMA - HILLARY CLINTON POLICY IN LIBIA UP THERE?
Listen guys here's really the root of the problem. When the Colonialists went in and took over Africa, enjoying the subservient lifestyle and pillaging the land. The one area of governance that was overlooked is that of "discipleship or mentorship". If you are not "teaching" and bringing impartation to those under you - you fail to perpetuate the success. As a result, upon the colonialists departure or having been kicked out. The African(s) take over with little knowledge of how things work (but they know how to serve themselves)!! They learned that from their Colonial masters. Furthermore, other surrounding nations that realize the ineptness of leadership, the lack of protection, see an opportunity to exploit. Thus, we have the scenario that this gentlemen is describing.
Wrong
Well well well
Does anyone remember a time when Africa was not at war??😂
Why isn't this man a consultant to Trump?
Big fan of the perspectives that Erik brings to these topics. I wish the podcast had a host that would ask more in depth of insightful questions rather than just agreeing or confirming everything. Mike seems purely scripted.
👍🏽👍🏽
Perhaps more total conflicts but I believe more people died in Congo than are being killed now... also Rwanda. Correct me if I'm wtong.
Africa’s political leadership often thrives on promoting group grievances and resentment, a strategy that ultimately harms the very people they claim to uplift. Meanwhile, minority groups such as the Chinese, Lebanese, and Indians, despite enduring systemic discrimination, continue to excel economically. Their success, however, makes them convenient scapegoats during economic crises, deflecting blame from the real culprits-corruption, mismanagement, and poor governance. This cycle of division and scapegoating perpetuates instability, stifles progress, and distracts from the urgent need for effective leadership and accountability.
What's your solution?
@@SouthernStorm_61, They need Jesus and leaders like Javier Milei.
Venezuela S.O.S.
Sounds like California!
Prince should be talking to Putin.
Maybe Africa has more guns now, but they have always had wars between villages and different tribes, and they will probably continue with it into the future no matter what any other powers do.
The only reason other countries are getting involved is because of Natural Resources or no other countries would be involved, they need to figure it out on their own.
But 🇮🇱 wanted Libya gone so that's what we gave them, allowing for mass migration to Europe, all part of their plan. All these countries have minerals/oil so it's preferred they stay conflict zones. 🇮🇱 is number 1 exporter of diamonds coming from these conflict zones through child labor in these regions.
Please tell me that Eric has a ear or three in the new Trump administration!
Come on U.S were is you based go get some land
Well according to PENTAGON THOMAS PM BARNETT CHINA IS WINNING WITH INDIA 🇮🇳
Reading Steve Coll's "Directorate S" (Meltdown in Afghanistan) and he goes into detail about the downed chopper carrying the Senators that had to land in the snow storm at elevation, but failed to mention how your people saved their bacon ! Damn it !
Let's give credit, where credits due !
Lol more people are flooding into South Africa now than before 1994, which was largely organised mining contract labour agreements from neighbouring countries.
It wasn't for access of electricity.
Most of South Africa's population didn't have electricity back then.
36% in the 1980s.
94% in 2023.
I thought the British were the head of south Africa
Not now dummy
BS nato propaganda trash 😂
Hey ruskibot. Let me see the back of your head. I want to check if it's flat. 😂
