The UI on Bolt for this prompt did look better but I think that was just bad luck, overall Lovable has all the features Bolt has plus more, their select tool is really nice, their Supabase integration is extremely good, it was super easy to set up. And I think they support packages as well, I tried telling it to add React Flow and it worked.
100% this. But also it comes down to how to make progress with real complexity. The one shot attempts are known to be weak and now we are going through the chain-of-thought phase that is trying too hard to compress complexity down still. The real answer is a clearer understanding of what is possible with agents and version control. I've been working on "semantic version control" solo for over a decade now, but a Rube Goldberg-ian implementation should even be possible with git once people recognize the need. But you first have to recognize incremental progress of competing branches in a (relatively) monotonically increasing computation space ("relatively" similar to how current version control is essentially monotonically increasing but not strictly speaking).
Lovable works really well for me, despite the limitation of the free tier, compared to Bolt. Bolt seemed to be better at understanding the UI design requirements, but when developing the same system with basically the same prompts, Bolt gets stuck in some sections and gets stuck in a loop, trying to fix the bugs, spending tokens and delivering the same result, after changing the code 3 or 4 times. With Lovable, I have a much more advanced app, with many more features already implemented. Plus, it's cheaper than Bolt, which used to have a $9 plan, but has now jumped to $35.
There are many more AI Powered SAAS, PAAS wannabes floating around the internet yet they are using the existing AI Models that we already using like GPT 4o and Claude 3.5 Sonnet. And guess what? Their price is starting at 20 freaking dollars😂

Still waiting for AI that understand the entire code base, and help based on that.
Supermaven has a 1 Mio Context Window

Still waiting for AI that can implement new features without breaking the whole project.
Windsurf and cursor completely break down if you have 700 lines of code what are you on about 🤣 it absolutely cannot handle even a mid sized project
The select feature is such a good idea. Tired of taking screenshots to show what's wrong to the ai.

This is GPT Engineer with a new brand name
Not to mention that Bolt.new is open source 😂
So are you saying that Bolt is better at creating full stack app or it’s better at visualising an image and copying that?
Bolt is just better overall
The daily limits is my issue even when you pay 💰 I don’t want to pay for something with limits
with bolt pro you won't get free daily limits
@@wangwoo-gg1ed but you'll get very limited capabilities compared to lovable ;-)
We already have too much pick and shovel on this AI Revolution huh.
That app always works
Hi, need to connect with you for promotion of an AI product

LoL...these coding webui's are springing up all over the place :D

Thanks!
Word Press theme creators are sweating Boltets😂
Every web professional is alarmed.
We want the dancing dragons back 🐉😅
Thanks, your videos are a daily highlight. You're definitely a lighthouse for AI!
I tried it too, it wasn’t worth it
