I still have my 71 small block SE Charger. It was my first car and I bought it when I was 16. It's been parked since 2002 but I've been saving up parts over the years to get it back on the road. Hopefully sooner than later.
It makes your car extra special that it’s your first. Thanks for comment!
Had my share of Chargers. Use to pick em up for $200 -$500 in the 80s. Most of the time I had no floors or 1/4 panels. But I worked my magic and flipped them for around $1500. Wish I kept them now. 👍
Great footage. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
I used to live near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where there are a lot of cool car shows that happen there throughout the year.
I hope you have some where you live now?
@@ultimatemusclecar Yeah I always will have a passion for cars, so I can make something work.
Old school Mopars still going strong.
Hi Adam. Yes they are!
@@ultimatemusclecar I have this 1977 gmc sierra dually that used to work the La county fire department a good lookin truck.
Those are nice trucks!
My dad bought a 69 1/2 440 Six Pack when I was 6 . He traded his 66 Hemi in on it . I have a 63 Max Wedge Savory now .
Wow, your Dad had some nice cars. I also love the Savoys.
@@ultimatemusclecar my uncle still has dad's Super Bee 🐝 .. It's in bad shape now but he's restoring it..
That’s great. Does it still have the original engine?
Great channel you have, reason for my comment is at 25;50 the owner of that Hemi Road Runner really know how to drive his car! Thats sweet music is right.
Definitely. Thank you 👍🏻
I had a 1970 Plymouth GTX 440 4 barrel rated at 375 HP at went skiing at Winter Park CO. Up the hill over the summit in 3rd gear!!! WOW!!
Awesome car!
Can I buy this car? Can I buy this car? Can I buy this car? Yeah they drive me crazy.
I know what you mean. If I won lotto, my garage would be 10 times bigger than my house.
I like the Red-Stripe Tires - I almost put them on my 1996 Caprice Classic, as it is Green with red pinstripes above the rocker panels ... but I went with blackwall BFG's instead - 245/60/15's
With a 350 V8 and a thumpr cam dual exhaust and a siren light bar. With flow masters.I will also put a headlight air scoops.
The red 67 Coronet with the 68 marker lights kinda thru me, must have been an owner installed thing.
Nice Catch. I didn't notice it before. He added them to the rear also.
blue
Thank you for responding.
Prefer the blue interior 70 charger over black. Also like white interior.
Thanks for sharing!
I daily drive a 1971 Plymouth duster it was my first car and I'm still a teen I love that car but it's an automatic three speed and a 225 slant six.
It's still a great 1st car, thanks for sharing! There's 2 dusters, one with a slant six, in my Mopar survivor video if you want to check it out: th-cam.com/video/eJ9l6oBEReo/w-d-xo.html
30:35 winged cars are nice and all but this 62 is just wow
The '62 cars don't get as much attention as they should. I plan on doing videos about these cars in the future. The '62 in the video you mentioned is stunning, like I said in the video. Thanks for commenting!
In 1970 Dad bought a Road Runner w/383MAG, 727TF w/track pack option, rally red, white interior, white top, round guage package, reflective stripe on trunk lid, and the Road Runner lettering and bird under mirrors on both sides of doors. I wasn't even 4 when he bought that car and I remember the first time I saw it, I also remember him selling it when I wasn't 8 yet, man was I hot. I dreamed that the keys would be ceremoniously handed down to me like royalty on my 16th, LOL. At least I got to steer it many times, he'd sit me on his knees and I could make turns no problem with power steering, of course he was doing the pedal work, but I could put in reverse back out of driveways, the first time mom saw me steering into the driveway she wasn't happy but dad said don't worry, he's actually really good at it.I still remember the feel of the key and the ignition, turning it to start it up. after I stretched my leg down to hit the pedal a couple times. Bucket list car.
Great story! Thank you for sharing it. Hearing stories like this makes me feel good inside. I think you should buy a ‘70 Road Runner, it’s one of my favorite body styles. Have a good night.
@@ultimatemusclecar I forgot to mention I live across the river from St.Louis and the car was probably assembled at the Fenton plant, Dad worked for Illinois Central RR and may have hauled that car to the drop off location for new cars in the area, just a thought I had while researching assembly locations.
Even cooler! Thanks.
What year was the moss green roadrunner at 15:55 please? 68 or 69?
That Road Runner is a 1968
Can you film the dodge d100s at carisle Chrysler nationals 2024
Mr. Norm Dodge.
There's a lot of super birds where I live
Hi Bob. You’re lucky. I never see a Superbird or Daytona at any of my local areas. I do see the occasional Hemi or Six Pack car though.
