Yours just may be the finest swap meet video that I have ever seen. It was almost like being there. You gave a good look at the parts and the prices. A lot of those parts did look like they were made out of gold, but they sure were priced that way. Thanks for the great job!
@@ultimatemusclecar i was at the show and saw it … wish i bought, making a model kit of it.. i dont have pics of interior … long shot that someone wud have … i have some pics was glad to find someone with the car on video… in person it was orange looks red in video .. thanks
How would you characterize the prices? It seemed like it was mostly very over priced with a few market priced things. I wonder how negotiable those sticker prices were.
I would say many items were overpriced but like you said some were reasonable. Except for the established, large reproduction companies or companies selling new items, almost everything was negotiable. Even the overpriced items can be talked down but still too high. Some bargains were available especially later on Saturday.
It's always grossly overpriced at Carlisle. Regardless if prices are negotiable you're usually so far apart there's no point in making an offer. If you want walk around and sweat your balls off for a weekend it's great fun!
I just bought a original (not cheap Chinese repop) 187 oil pan in Canada at a non-Mopar meet for $50 CDN/$37 US last weekend... At Carlisle would have been at least triple that price US.
The event is huge, acres and acres of parts and cars. This year they had approximately 3,100 cars. You cannot see everything in one day. If you ever decide to go, book your room early because the better motels sell out quickly.
If you within driving distance of LA, they have a Mopar only show/swap meet every spring and fall in Van Nuys called Spring/Fall Fling. Been to Spring one numerous times, prices were fairly reasonable, still some stuff made out of unobtanium, but if shipping wouldn't kill me I'd have bought a bunch. Plus, lot of the big names you don't see at Carlisle cause of the tax man (or SWAT arresting people inside the Laysons tent, that was a fun year).

Hi Jim. I appreciate your comment! Have a good night.
It's cheaper to buy a old Mopar and do the best you can, or just buy a S10 and a junk yard LS, and a Chinese turbo. Mopar or no money,.,?

Ok
Show the price longer!
Nice
Thank you.
Really,? These prices are crazy, cheaper to buy a decent original and wing it. Who has $60.000 to buy the parts?
I need go to that event, I'm on the West coast, there is nothing like this here.
