- Sometimes you just have to let go. Jesus said when the odds are against you, you sleep. In the Lion's Den. When it rains a butterfly sleeps. So this studio continues its evolution seemingly back to square one, built from scratch, although I have had it together for decades. I finally got a reasonable mix for the Rhodes, the bass pedals, and the DX pad, and suddenly out of the blue, A DEAD SHORT IN MY CROWN AMP!!!. HUMMMM!
Unplug speakers, new tweeters in my Yamaha NS-10M's as of today, unplug the Spirit board monitor or cue send, and the amp is still red light shorted. What the F? Unconventional warfare. Apache helicopters. Fort Liberty Sustainment command deployment. Fun times. It's always something. I'll bet if I look at FlightAware, there was an incoming commercial Piedmont or Delta commuter jet. They fly right over my house. Phased array radar and antenna for fast wireless internet for the passengers. It is so strong they have to turn it off on the tarmac. My guess. It's about 10:10 pm. Shall we look?
Just experimenting with this set up. Moved the DX up from the garage. Need to get it in the MIDI set up for Digital Performer. I think playing chords on the Rhodes and melody on the Dx would be better...
Crumar Mojopedals are good. (with the right sound)
