Decent away win for Eng. Set piece good, defence strong, tactics conservative but effective. . certainly not world beaters yet but can see Borthwick's philosophy starting to bed in.

In our reaction to the embarrassment of the LRZ giveaway, Genge galvanised the forwards with fury and I imagine much swearing, to end with Sinkler’s score; and with the injection of Mitchell’s heroin (into the veins of the staggering drunks who’d forgotten why they kept colliding with each other) the whole sorry lot roused themselves briefly for Lawrence to profit. But in between times they were content to kick the bloody ball - which they had no use for - down the other end.

Well done England at last onward and upward. I can't understand why Eddie Jones was sacked he's a world class coach! Steve Borthwick however seems to be pointing them in the right direction and he's English.
I think people forget that England have always struggled to win in Cardiff. Home advantage is always worth 10 points in any 6 Nations match. In Borthwick's 3rd game in charge he delivered a sound win. Yes, it's not pretty but he has to start from the ground up and get the basics right. I think he's doing OK. Welsh rugby is in a mess and I sympathize but hey ho I'm English. My fear is we won't get enough game time before the WC.

If van Poortvliet had put the ball out of play against Scotland then van der Merwe wouldn't have been able to run the ball back for his first try against defenders who tackled with all the ferocity of sheets of wet toilet paper.
Was still asking myself where Zamit was the all of a sudden, I see him intercepting English passes and sprint to make a try.....brilliant. Reece Zamit Is a bunch.

Welsh rugby is dying a steady death .. Its taken around 50 years but now we are seeing the fruits of total bad management and under investment.. Soon there will be empty seats in the stadium that is the only thing thats keeping the whole shoddy structure afloat .. ( Sad Welsh fan )
Agree, I am a 63 year old Irish man and I love my rugby. As painful as it was I used to marvel at the Welsh teams of the 70s and 80s as they gave us many a hiding. I think of Phil Bennett, JPR, JJ, Gerald Davies, not to mention the greatest player I have ever seen Gareth Edwards. It is very sad, I would love all of the 6 nations sides to be competitive and have 5 rounds of awesome games.
Then they won't be true fans. Twickenham was full every match in 60s 70s 80s when Eng were so terrible. As Pullin said " We might not be any good, but at least we turned up." Thought that soccer was now the No.1 sport in Wales...until the World Cup.

This claim is false, because of the chip in the ball, so I disliked it, because as I said I dislike untruths because social media is run by the users who self moderate the platforms. England were well below par, but this Welsh performance was DISMAL at home.

Wales have some geriatric players that must surely be phased-out; AWJ, Owens, Halfpenny, Biggar, Tipuric are all into mid-30's and others are into early 30's with miles on the clock like Cuthbert, North, Williams etc. Gatland clearly loves this old warriors and thy've delivered but surely some of them have to be moved-on past WC?
For my sins I watched this game live. Highlights? Were there any, dreadful game with maybe the two worst teams in the competition?
We actually have homegrown talent unlike Scotland who just import every player 👍🏼 enjoy this short period of success, it won’t last. You still need to win a WC😂
