Nice. Saw one of these in my local VW showroom, it does look very big. My ID.3 has the 77kWh battery, nice to have during the winter for sure, although with fast charging I wouldn't be put off going for the smaller battery. I did a 6 hour round trip to London and back and had to stop off to charge, I literally sat for 10 minutes charging at 480mph... Gave me more than enough to get home.
I remember the heating in our old V-class van being a problem as well. If you just heated the front area and then braked hard when driving, all of the dense, cold air from the back would come sloshing up to the front, especially down low. I remember putting a pillow or something between the front seats to keep that from happening as much 😅
Somebody here has a plain green one - seen it drive through our village two mornings consecutively this week - they have deliveries of the Id Buzz already in the UK?
The Finnish Technical Magazine did a winter test and gave poor rating. Someone speculated that it has only a PTC heater and it’s the same than ID4. So it under powered for such roomy interior.
When you reviewed the Dacia Spring, which is an urban vehicle you took it on the motorway and we learned basically nothing about its real qualities. So to be fair shouldn't you drive the Id Buzz on an totally urban drive in one of the beautiful European medieval cities so we can see how difficult it would be park or drive down 1 lane back streets? Just saying.

Good review!

The Buzz is great!
The distance from the dash to the windscreen is so great that I wonder how many people could sleep there when camping. (nicht ernst)

Interestingly, it's 3cm shorter that a Passat Variant/Estate, and just 10cm wider.
