Beautiful. One of the best views on the island. :) In all of the many, many times I visited the Pali Lookout during my lifetime living on Oahu, I don't think I ever read that historic plaque until I watched this video sitting in my living room in Nevada lol. Some interesting info on it I never knew.
Years ago…. Remember goin up there around dusk. My girlfriend and I were looking out from the site of the battle, and could’ve sworn we heard yelling and screaming from the bottom of the cliff. Nothin was reported on the news or anything. Was this the spirits of the soldiers cryin out ? I’m guessin yeah 👻
@@HawaiiJohn I’m a paranormal enthusiast. I hear that Hawaii has a deep history of that. I hear stuff about the big island too. I gotta plan a lil vacation soon 👻🤙🏽
We use to wear our jackets with our arms up making the jacket like a sail and lay in the wind off to the right down on the old road…….lookout side of the old gate. We would hike up the right side for better views, privacy, and no tourists.
