I can’t believe I stumbled on this video!! I’m so excited! I want to make a vintage truck cake…like a 1957 Chevy or Dodge, or the old red truck you usually see at Christmas time carrying the family tree…I feel very intimidated about making that into a cake…but after finding this video, I am wondering if this shell is available for vintage trucks?? I never try with frosting or butter cream.... I suppose if you freeze it i may work... perhaps you need to spray vegetable shortening first.

There is many ways to make a wheel... on this video I show 22:00 making a wheel with mould.

Amazing Idea!.... will the ganache not stick to the car mould when u unmould?
Just tried this for hubbys ve bug cake. TOTAL FAIL. GANACHE stuck. CHOCOLATE BROKE. Total mess. Finally tried modeling chocolate and had to CUT the expensive shell to get it out somewhat intact. Was still a total mess and was glad it was not leaving the house🤦🏻♀️
How do I know if the shell I’m buying isn’t made from harmful plastics? Like you’d need it to be as food safe as possible? I’ve found one made from ‘Lexan’ but I don’t know anything about this kind of thing. Thank you!
In Australia you are not allowed to sell toxic toys they are all non-toxic
not poisonous or harmful to your health. I don't know many companies these days that sell toxic plastic. But you can always ask the company directly.
You must wash the plastic very well before use it and remember you will only freeze it not bake on it.
For the ganache what the measurements for cream and chocolate too fill shell, then between the cakes, it's cost me a fortune upto just for fondant and cream and that's without any cake ingredients, absolutely love this video I'm going to try and make one with ganache and cake. Wish me luck. But would love to know how much cream and chocolate I will need my car about 2ft long by 8"

if you freeze it I guess yes, just make sure to take the cake from the mould still frozen

Did u put the stickers on the car it not edible paper
I say the kit comes with the stickers. You scan it and print into an edible image. Cake decorating shops can also scan and print for you 😉
