Really what people mean when they say "alpha" is masculine. The more masculine traits that someone has, the more people will refer to them as "alpha". It has nothing to do with leading a pack of other betas around or anything haha. "Beta" would be considered a more feminine man. Scenario: 31, no college, working full time since 18, climbing their way up through a company or two, or building their own business for well over a decade. versus: 25, graduated college at 23, is still on their first real job which they’ve had for about 16 months because they took some time off after college. Their life structures and values will be completely different.
