To change the dot size in Illustrator, you can adjust the Scatter Brush settings or create your own custom brush. If you're working with a large file and the dots are too small, you can also increase the Stroke Weight of your dots or scale them up by selecting the dots and using the Transform tool. Another option is to go to Edit > Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display and increase the Anchor Point, Handle, and Bounding Box Display size. Hope this helps, cheers!

Took me about 6 hours as an intermediate to follow the directions. I guess it is good for watching but not for following.

offset path not working for me with those settings.
Had the same problem. Make sure you go to Effect (!) --> Path --> Offset Path and NOT Object --> Path --> Offset Path.
