Surprised you were so positive about Warlock. I've heard nothing but bad things about that game. Shame, because it looks gorgeous. I remember seeing the movie it's based on at the cinema. It was a bit of a direct to video job that somehow got a cinema release but was enjoyable enough. Mainly because Richard E Grant was in it. He's been a favourite actor of mine since Withnail & I. Someone should make a gameplay improvement hack of it. I'd definitely play it then.
I am usually not much into this series but I think on this one you've improved either the writing or the editing or both it feels snappier than usual and a joy to watch. Thank you!

Yup the south coast has almost nothing in the way of retro stores. I've started to sell off quit a bit of my collection to pay for games now. I think it may be a tough winter.
You and Sega Head will always be MY Chiki Chiki Boys. I've actually had a bit of fun with Warlock--I liked the movies so was very intrigued with the game, but I've not sunk too much time into it, sadly. Also, gotta say, the SNES Robocop vs Terminator is a much better box...for once.
Keep on going with the collection! Im down to less than a hundred to go on the north american collection, mainly cartridges. As far as the 4player cartridges only pete sampras tennis, we never got super skidmarks or power drive. PAL games are hard to come by in the u.s.
Great pickups! Really interesting to hear you prefer Phantasy Star III to II, especially considering the bad rap III often gets. I like the entire series myself and IV is my favourite game. What's cool about the Body Count boxart is that they actually hold Menacers on it, haha.

Only 4 to go now luckily but if I was starting out again I would definitely try to sell other stuff to fund the collection for sure. Man, I love that Robocop VS Terminator game so much I wish it had a movie along... haha! Big fan of the Fantasy Zone series as well, although I prefer the SMS entries. Thanks for mentioning Warlock, Skeleton Krew and Body Count. I never heard of those, really need to get my hands on those! All ToeJam games are great fun. I specially dig the unreleased version of ToeJam & Earl 3 on the Dreamcast that was leaked online not long ago. It was closer to the gameplay and tone of the first game on Mega Drive. The Xbox release kinda mixed and mashed up the content around.

I have the hint book but keeping an eye out for the map! I assume you will try to get all those bits n pieces that came with the games too I love how positive you were with sword of sodan. I apprecaite Sword of Sodan for what it was at the time it came out. But yes it is not a good game😅 One thing I love about this collection is finding all the bits and pieces that came with these games and bringing them back together.

That's a complex question. Because there are variants and different region specific games. When I finish the games I'm going after I'll be close to 700 games.
The fact that you bought that abomination Sword of Sodan tells me just how dedicated you are to your cause. A proper Sega hero if their ever was one haha. Phantasy Star II is gold, the good thing about the MD mini 2 is that they'll be a re worked edition making it less slower and an easy game mode incorportated to it. Power Drive is awesome Rare did an amazon job with this, the Game Gear of this is expensive ugh. Skid marks is a game you can't enjoy and isn't on the level of micro machines which is the one. Spirou isn't half bad I just remember the controls were a little floaty. Gerzetsky ice hockey is 2nd best to the EA stuff. Chiki Chiki boys its a fantastic game agreed can't go wrong. Mystic Defender has aged but agreed it's quite basic. Captain Planet was a cartoon I loved but sadly the game was meh. Robocop Vs the Terminator is one gorefest of a game and yes it was way better than the SNES version. Super Fantasy Zone is solid title nuff said. Body Count is quite basic but meh it is what it is. Skeleton Crew is a solid game very underrated. Warlock is a game I put on if I want to torture my nephews, it's a hard game. Toe Jam & Earl, is one of those games a lot of people love, but meh not for me. Rambo III is a decent top down shooter IMO, but yes nice haul overall glad you're happy and it's nice to see you enthusiastic about this passion of yours.
Mega Drive has the sharpest picture! Second is Saturn. Snes and ps1 are much more blurry. Also pc engine is not sharp as mega drive. The king of blurry is n64, second ps2 ect. And I had only snes and ps1 when I was a kid. Now a few hears I got mega drive and it is now my favorite console for the sharpest picture and the dark sound!!
I’ve never heard someone say Phantasy Star 3 is better than 2. That is blasphemy. 3 is the worse Phantasy Star game made for the series. It was a major downgrade after playing PS2.

It was a huge console in the UK, the SNES and MD were head to head on sales.
