I am having the same issue . Although I need to Cut about 2 to 3 inches on the top cabinet and bottom too.

Yes I'm running into that problem but mine's the top cabinet and to my surprise I actually have that tool and the blades that go with it. So I'm going to do mine now

How did you remove side panel from the kitchen cabinet, without damaging it

I was just stapled in place I think I used a putty knife to slowly break it free.

Thank you. I have the problem with my son refrigerator. I have no problem trimming the top. But I did not know how to take the sides off, with out damaging it. I had to take off at least 1/2” and put the sides back on

I'm having that exact same problem but would need to shave off 4 to 5 inches and I was told that I can't do it because we don't own the house yet.

@@ktoutdoor yes we did & it was an almost P fit. I exaggerate the distance & we noticed the Counter flushed on both sides of stove but there was an overhang next to fridge that needed to be shaved 2 & 1/2 inches. All is well, i hope yours is well & great, happy holidays.

U can open fridge door ???

Yes it opens just fine the hinge is made in a way so you can put the fridge up against a wall and the door will still open, only the handle comes in contact with the wall.

Why wouldn't you use a router to get that lip of the cabinet off?

Yes it will but not all refrigerators do. So look closely at the hinge design before buying a new one.
