A way I found to get blue out completely is to put an auburn brown box dye on top and bleach that out. The orange brown cancels out the blue. I've done it multiple times and with one bleach after the auburn brown I get a really nice pale yellow if not platinum
@@purpleixora that's the only way I've been able to get blue 100% out of my hair. You put auburn brown box dye in and you bleach it with 20 vol developer nothing higher a few hours later don't wait any longer than a day because then you run into problems. Leave the bleach on for 30 to 40 minutes max and I've always gotten very pale yellow just with one bleach. I've tried using semi permanent orange dye but it doesn't work. My theory is the box dye breaks down and fuses with the blue pigment in the hair so when you bleach out that dye it takes all the blue with it. Honestly does less damage than 2 bleach sessions. If your skeptical try out a patch test for the whole process. I promise it works
