An often overlooked stat of King Crimson is his incredibly low durability. Which, paired with The World’s frankly absurd power, means only a single punch here should have been sufficient to seriously fuck up King Crimson.
King Crimson is a glass cannon, a REALLY powerful glass cannon, but the stands mediocre vanilla stats would hold it back should something combat the time skip ability.
Yeap, downside as well being The World's time stop is basically a perfect counter to time skip, as if Dio gets a single activation then he wins, as it all would happen at once, it would be impossible to skip once time is stopped and the results of the actions would already take place once time resumes. Granted King Crimson could in theory see a time stop coming up and skip right before it happens, but that wouldn't really help him kill Dio as he would have to basically constantly spam it out to keep up with Dio's constant time stops, and in a battle of endurance against a vampire, King Crimson is not going to win.
KC was able to take a punch from itself though so idk, stand stats just seem to be wonky in general.
@@catsquidcatoverlord9842 this is incredibly late and i doubt you even care anymore but yeah literally the only times dio did no damage in this video is when he tries being cool by pulling knives out of nowhere like a gta character and throwing them. all it would take is a single edgy pose and a 'ZA WARUDO' combined with a punch to the gut and diavolo would be receiving the kakyoin treatment.
and like you said it mostly depends on who manages to use their ability first. a lot of the time both diavolo AND dio tend to scream out their stands name before using the ability, but theyve also done it instantaneously without saying anything
@@smhwolvi Yeap in agreement there. Honestly, how I would see it play out is simply both of them spamming their abilities to the point of exhaustion or a mistake. With Dio getting basically infinite mistakes due to his regeneration and that he can do damage during his ability, Diavolo can only really use it to dodge unless fated to do damage during the skip.
The big deciding factors just being Diavolo not being able to do damage consistently during his ability, while Dio can unless skipped, and that Diavolo cannot take hits, while Dio can.

King Crimson's ability seems like the ultimate counter to The World. Thinking about it logically, if King Crimson erases time then The World shouldn't be able to stop time since there is no time to stop. Also, Diavolo's ability to see the future would let him know when Dio stops time, so he could time his time erasures accordingly.

Issue is that at any point if time stop activates before diavolo can stop it he's dead, and he can't even harm dio in time erase so he pretty much can't do anything that dio couldn't immediately counter with time stop.
But honestly I prefer to leave it as they both have a good chance at winning, because this topic can just go on and on and on. Nice deduction btw 👌
Hmm Diavolo can't erase time if he erase time then KC is the most powerful stand ever existed, KC skip time like you skip this video for 10 sec, and it was futile if you got no epitaph, because your opponent can still move and hurt or even kill you like silver chariot did and diavolo can't do nothing in that skipped time, and dio still can stop time in that skipped time and beat the shit out of diavolo even tho dio unaware of his action.
Thing is, it depends on who activates their ability first.

It's basically reviving Dio's empty shell, or any memory left in his physical body.
It's the opposite version of Bucciarati's case, or for example, a body affected by Silver Chariot Requiem, Giorno's soulless living and fully operational body, while Narancia's soul is leaving it. The body is indeed exist but it exhibits no trace of "living", just functional, heart thumping, breaths come and go, etc, but no life or desire or impulse, just like people in coma, except this one is worse, since the soul is already out of the equation.
The problem with Dio's cell is... It's vampiric cell, and Jotaro didn't want to leave his remains stir another trouble, Jonathan's body doesn't rot because of Dio's vampiric cell, so burn under the sun it goes.

KC doesn’t actually have a E in durability, rather a E in staying. It was a mistranslation, staying is like how long the user can keel the stand active. KC took a Ari from Sticky Fingers, who had a A in destructive power and is stronger than Gold Experience. So he’s def not a E.

No, you're forgetting that theres a thing in jojo called "Fate" if diavolo sees himself dying in 10 seconds he really can't do anything about it, he can't react unless epitaph shows that he CAN react, if you use epitaph you better pray that fate is on your side, because what you will see is not an opportunity to save yourself, but instead your death warrant.

The only way Jotaro can defeat Diavolo is by using Polnareff's blood dropping trick. He would stop time as soon as blood droplets increase and ora ora him, preferably kill Diavolo. If Diavolo used Epitaph and chose not to skip time, it will turn into a stand to stand combat to which Star Platinum will definitely win. It would be a win for Jotaro for both scenarios.
Diavolo is almost invincible,GER was the only way to beat him, erasing time means full immunity for 10 seconds while knowing exactly what your opponent will do, Dio wouldn't land a single blow on diavolo if he uses the " Future Self" thing

Since DIO is a vampire and a stand user, the only way a human without Hamon can kill him is by, doing what Jotaro did, kill The World, or by exposing him to sunlight.

The video's amazing; the only thing I don't like is that King Crimson used The World's resuming time sound effect when there is a video of the actual time-skip SFX for King Crimson

Dio would have no problem with Diavalo, here’s why:
-Stamina, As a vampire, dio has a much higher stamina gain as well as regeneration
-Timestop, there’s no way Diavlo can predict time stop, he can’t erase or see into the future of something that didn’t happen at all, he would just see the outcome of him being attacked
-stats: Diavlo has on pretty sure a E in dur, and D in range, well TW has an A in both.

The thing is that Diavolo has the most poorly understood Stand in all of Jojo. To make it simple, Diavolo has 2 abilities, one is to see the future, and the second is to be able to teleport everybody to the future without them being conscious of it. Logically speaking, these abilities are superior to Dio's The World but Araki has a huge hate-boner for Diavolo so he lost because of plot reasons.
Don't quote me on that but wouldn't Diavolo still NOT be able to move even if he predicted the time stop and skipped that stopped time, then wouldn't DIO have made his attack on Diavolo in that skipped time because Diavolo couldn't move?
Rolling Thunder king crimson is strong but can still be beat like if dio stopped time in king crimsons world he would still be stopped
@@FridayEmpireOfCorpses Good point, but consider this : Diavolo has the ability to see the future (Getting insta-killed by Dio) and also the ability to kinda "freeze time" as well, since during his time skip he can move freely while his oponents can only do whatever movement he predicted they would do. Logically speaking this really makes no sense at all, and I guess whoever wins will be the one who activates time freeze (Dio) or time skip (Diavolo) first. I wonder if Dio's time freeze would cancel Diavolo's time skip lol.
Diavolo actually wins or escapes. The world cant do anything to Diavolo because of how Epitaph, time erasure and Time stop would interact. When time stops, theoretically speaking, movements of infinite speed took place within a single point in time. Time erasure erases 10 seconds of time including the time stop which was only a point within the time it erased. Epitaph wont see the 10+seconds of time stop, it will only see the final result where diavolo gets seriously injured, the events after that point of time instead of the events within that point (Dio's perception). If Diavolo knows there are severe injuries incoming after n seconds, he erases time and gets away from that position, leaving Dio to strike nothing. The only way for Dio to kill Diavolo within stopped time is with omnidirectional attacks that he couldnt dodge even if he knew they were coming, and Dio lacks AOE attacks so... Diavolo either wins eventually by destroying Dio's head or he runs away.
