Apt demo... Very instructive. Just one question. Why hasn't the limiter/gate cut off the noise and fluff in the background? Was it because you were using a different mic? A little demo of output with the compression and without compression would have complimented. Nevertheless, one of the best demos out there!

I have Two stereo pairs of good quality condenser microphones, for harmonica players that tend to play from Too far away from the mics. How do I set my compressor to pick up More sound from the harmonicas, any ideas please?? I tried to tell them to play closer to the mics but that hasn’t worked for 3 years now, and they keep whining about the microphones..... is compression the answer here??
Why are all the LED's lit up? Doesn't that mean that the processor is compressing? But you don't have any audio going through it. Could you explain please?

Hi, I have an Allen & Heath zed10fx mixer. It doesn't have the insert directly under the mic line as yours does at 03:50. Can you google a picture of the mixer and tell me where I'm supposed to connect the cable that you plug in at 03:50? I'd appreciate it.
I have a Audio technica at 2035 going into a scarlet Scarlett 2i2. I want to invest in a compressor for live streaming, How would I hook up a compressor (I was looking at the Behringer Compressor pro-xl) with my Scarlett 2i2? Do I need a mixer too? Thank you
in order to connect the compressor to the mixer the tip and ring is connected to the compressor and the other end is connected to the mixer in the "Insert" . So my question is what if your mixer doesnt have the "insert" input. My mixer doesnt have an "insert" it just has an XLR and Line In input. SO with that said how would I connect a compressor to my mixer? I have a Berringer 1204 USB mixer
You'd go tip into in of first effect then out of your first effect into the in of your second then out of second gets the ring end of your insert cable

Using the second channel will be for a second microphone? So this way the Eq and crossover bypasses the compressor?

You are putting only on one channel, Will it effect on other channels with that connection?
