I get paid by Sennheiser to make content for their social channels. I still remain critical of their products regardless, and expressed my frustrations with the MTW4. Money doesn't sway me for my reviews. My sponsored showcases should be seen just as that. Sponsored showcases, not a review.

Yes it does, you're lying. If you are overly critical, they will stop giving you money. It's that simple.
I'm a firearms reviewer and it works the same way across every product category. You can give mild constructive criticism sometimes but if you damage their wallet, they will damage yours.

@@maximusjoseppi5904 I've been critical, very critical of various companies and products before whether they paid me or not. If they stop sending me stuff, then I say that in my video so viewers know. I make enough money from other things to pay for the products if I need to.
Again, Sennheiser has been paying me for months to make content for their social channels. I still gave them a critical review. The proof is in the pudding. The key is to be constructive, not toxic and unfair. Don't know what to say, bud.
It doesn't impact me. I don't give a crap if they stop working with me. Another company will pay me for stuff that isn't a review (I don't accept sponsored reviews, only showcases). I do well for myself and my audience appreciates my honesty. If brands want access to my audience, they know what they're getting.

If you were given the product, it's not a review. It's a commercial. I'm a firearms reviewer and it works the same way in all product categories..
If you were given the product to borrow for review, given the product, paid, it doesn't matter, you're being paid regardless through goods, money, or exposure (content). If you are overly critical of any product you are paid to review, they will not give you another product to review. Not only that, other companies in the same space will see how honest you were and they too will put you on the no no list.
You might be allowed to give mild constructive criticism, the bigger your channel and the less important the feature you're criticizing is the more you're allowed, but if you ever say anything that will effect sales negatively... You're out. No more first looks, no more inside info, no more free toys, and definitely no more money.
Anyone telling you differently is a liar. No exception.

Yes, and buds like momentum 4s get praised as being number 1 in TH-cam, yet get slated on various forums. This is an issue when someone doesn't know how to conduct proper research on a product and blindly follow a single person based on their views or perceived rep in the community.

Very good point Fredo! I purchased the Dji Mic 2 for instance, thinking the Bluetooth feature was the next best thing since sliced bread. Yesterday I released a test on my channel... and man, the Bluetooth is a real letdown regarding audio quality. The codec used for android and iOS simply suck. None of the BIG channels mentioned lower audio quality via Bluetooth to phones. Only smaller channels did. I released spectrum analyzer images, and you clearly see the difference in quality.

I had this problem with the reviews. looking for a tws under $50 because where I live above that you receive a fee above the final price of the product (product+ tax +ship), and researching NUMEROUS reviews, I noticed some things that some didn't mention and others did. Including comments from those who ended up purchasing the product.
In the end I know I made a good purchase, although I don't know if it was the best. But needing to look for a ton of review videos and comments from those who bought it is a pain that could be avoided with an honest "This battery has problems, this fitting doesn't work, the sound is good but leaves something to be desired at specific moments... ."

On the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4: I got my pair yesterday, and tbh I'm a little underwhelmed. Ok they do support high end codecs [on Android, Windows etc] but I don't get what the hype is about, they don't go very loud, even when you use the app to customise the sound. The detail is there with the instrument sounds [I'll give them that], but they're certainly not worth €299. I still have Sony XM4 earbuds, and I think they sound louder and better.

Trust NO ONE. There's no point in asking who can you trust when there's always discrepancies, which stem from bias, ulterior motives, and other disingenuous aspects of us humans. You even mention these in the video. Everyone saying "ThIs Is ThE bEsT [insert product here].", or some other cliche bullshit, just to come to the realization that these products are full of flaws that no one wants to equally broadcast as happily, is a classic example of the nonsense these bad actors pull. Be an individual. Think for yourself at the end of the day.
I disagree with everyone selling out. That's something a sellout would say, and nothing about that is honorable in my book. Some of us value our integrity and sincerity more than most, and those values will always take priority over everything else, especially money. I know because I am one of those people. There will always be an opportunity to make money. I don't feel the need to do it at expense of my integrity and on my knees.
I take every review and so-called review as a form of feedback to ultimately make my own judgement call...nothing more or less. These people aren't your friends anymore than these corporations they are...selling out to. Since most people think so little of themselves, they get the whole game twisted and think that these people lining their pockets is a long lost BFF trying to look out for them and sell them some magic. That's where the real comedy lies.

If you can get the older Powerbeats at a good price they will likely also fit your requirements. Still I don't belive ranting about other reviewers is something you should really do and the fact that companies do everything for money , well surprise , money is what drive the world . No money = No living . I do agree buds that costs 250-400$ should be almost flawless when it comes to reliability . You say you buy the buds but who can really approve that ? you ? I mean , idk , I just don't like when someone is ranting about someone else that actually around for so many years. Other than that , while I watch reviews all the time ,I will usually buy something based on a research I did and/or experience I had . Watching a good review won't guarantee anything .

It's so bad that on our reddit forms or Amazon reviews you see people say they watched reviews from so an so and expected this but got this. He's letting people become aware of this because it's relatively new thing an alot of people aren't aware of reviews they are watching. He isn't saying he's number 1 only watch him he's letting people who aren't aware know their are two types of reviewers an the bad ones who say everything is good you must buy these are becoming more common especially with gen z reviewers.
Even if you don't agree with flossy style because he didn't have them long enough he's doing a different type of review the original type the unboxing type while guys like this dude give long term reviews so you're reason for not even liking his page doesn't even make sense why would an unboxing be a long time review?
