My grandmother lived her last few decades in New Orleans, and had a nieghbor who moved in across from her in her beautiful townhome - I’ll NEVER forget, I was in my late teens, 19, I think - this guy was young, but had received a LARGE inheritance. She was always asking him when he was going to get a job … he’d ask “what for? I’ll never run out of money!” My Gran told him that NO WOMAN would EVER want a man who was a freeloader, not responsible & working! I never forgot that - - too bad more aren’t like that now. But, kudos to this young man’s dad!! He is an impressive young man!!

I have an apartment but this is very inspirational. I plan on buying at least an acre in the future but I was just telling my sister we should buy some land together and then pass it down to our kids. I would put cabinets at the very top of the kitchen walls and make them go all the way up to the ceiling, and for the cabinets above the sink cut them at an angle to fit the ceiling and it would look much cleaner and like a real apartment/house kitchen 👍

For mosquitos around places you want to sit out and relax….try this Spectracide 20-lb Triazicide For Lawns Granules Insect Killer. Spread this around before the next rain. It’s not a one and done but it does the trick. As for your tree, it needs nutrients. Sprinkle some Miracle Grow around the base before the next rain and it should help. I wish you all the best!

I’m sorry to rain on your parade, but you ain’t makin’ it as an arborist 😂😂😂. It looks like you cut the tap root when you replanted that tree. It’s dead my friend. Even if it wasn’t dead, it needs a hose ran out to it to keep the root ball saturated. Even if you kept the vital roots undamaged and uncut, it still needs constant watering until it takes root again. It’s beyond a state of shock, it’s dead dude. Maybe next time you’ll not be too busy with getting your home projects finished and can take plenty of time to tend to and keep the root ball watered well around the clock. I admire your eagerness though. You’re just a young, healthy 22 old man…you’ve got so much opportunity ahead of you.

Yes the black exterior is very popular right now in homes. I was surpried how chic it was inside. The man has good taste. I like your idea of the wood chips around the tree. But he needs to do it on his budget and in his own time. I applaud him. I have lived this way my entire life. Always only had a couple of dollars and never more. Nice. Suggestions: Keep the cabinets......sand them down....add Primer and repaint and maybe new knobs and hinges. Add a curtain rod and curtain in place of a bathroom door.....this will save space.

Hustle! I have a suggestion for the mosquitoes. I bought 2 citronella plants, planted one at my front door and one at my back door and I have no problems in either my front or back yards with mosquitoes, and I live in Florida with a swamp bordering my back yard. If it gets too cold where you live you can keep the citronella in a pot and bring it in during the winter but I’m able to leave them in the ground here. I’m gonna plant two more in each of my side yards because even though I don’t have a real bad problem there, every once in a while I’ll find one in my side yards.

I'm as old as your grandma or maybe great grandma if they are still alive. I have a word of advice for you even though you have not asked for it. In order for you to keep viewers of all ages engaged in your videos you need to upgrade your communication skills. Meaning speak to an audience who do not speak high school language and are able to understand. I take young people seriously and value them as much as they deserved. If you do this, your viewers and subscribers will go off the charts. Good job so far, will be coming for more.

Just some ideas. Maybe switch the fridge + oven? Fridge isn't as deep and would give a little more counter access/corner, and be able to open that lower door under sink. Probably not to code, but we moved our water heater outside. Originally it was in the corner of the kitchen (big eye-sore). Just put down some pavers, moved it outside against the kitchen wall, wrapped it in fiberglass, and enclosed it with (free) wood we found from some old privacy fencing. Never had a problem with it. Frees up space that could be a closet or maybe stackable washer/dryer? Looking good tho! I'm in Wilmington, and the mosquitoes here are viscious/insane!! For real - makes it a nightmare to do any work outside. Finally, starting to cool off the slightest bit.........a God-send! Stay Blessed. Proud of YOU xox

I’m impressed young man. To achieve what you have at such a young age especially in this day and age with the high cost of affordable housing alone you’ve done well. I like the fact that you have what motivates you the moment you walk into your home “Grind, Hustle, Execution”, it’s a reminder that one has to work to achieve. Have you considered continuing your education and becoming an electrical engineer? The doors of opportunity become a 100 fold greater with just a BS. For mosquitos around places you want to sit out and relax….try this Spectracide 20-lb Triazicide For Lawns Granules Insect Killer. Spread this around before the next rain. It’s not a one and done but it does the trick. As for your tree, it needs nutrients. Sprinkle some Miracle Grow around the base before the next rain and it should help. I wish you all the best!

I’m sorry to rain on your parade, but you ain’t makin’ it as an arborist 😂😂😂. It looks like you cut the tap root when you replanted that tree. It’s dead my friend. Even if it wasn’t dead, it needs a hose ran out to it to keep the root ball saturated. Even if you kept the vital roots undamaged and uncut, it still needs constant watering until it takes root again. It’s beyond a state of shock, it’s dead dude. Maybe next time you’ll not be too busy with getting your home projects finished and can take plenty of time to tend to and keep the root ball watered well around the clock. I admire your eagerness though. You’re just a young, healthy 22 old man…you’ve got so much opportunity ahead of you.

Tip: if you place wood chips around your tree or plants it retain the moisture so it doesn’t dry out immediately

Yes the black exterior is very popular right now in homes. I was surpried how chic it was inside. The man has good taste. I like your idea of the wood chips around the tree. But he needs to do it on his budget and in his own time. I applaud him. I have lived this way my entire life. Always only had a couple of dollars and never more. Always lived in the city and hated it. Finally I had enough and moved out to the country. Should have done it a lot sooner!!
Black Exterior would look good, but keep in mind that it'll make the house hotter year round which means more A/C and fans in the summer.

Keep the cabinets......sand them down....add Primer and repaint and maybe new knobs and hinges.
Add a curtain rod and curtain in place of a bathroom door.....this will save space.

I have a suggestion for the mosquitoes. I bought 2 citronella plants, planted one at my front door and one at my back door and I have no problems in either my front or back yards with mosquitoes, and I live in Florida with a swamp bordering my back yard. If it gets too cold where you live you can keep the citronella in a pot and bring it in during the winter but I’m able to leave them in the ground here. I’m gonna plant two more in each of my side yards because even though I don’t have a real bad problem there, every once in a while I’ll find one in my side yards.

Congratulations!!! Your dad must be proud of you. It sure makes me happy to see young people flourish. By this time you can tell I'm older than you. I'm as old as your grandma or maybe great grandma if they are still alive. I have a word of advice for you even though you have not asked for it. In order for you to keep viewers of all ages engaged in your videos you need to upgrade your communication skills. Meaning speak to an audience who do not speak high school language and are able to understand. I take young people seriously and value them as much as they deserved. If you do this, your viewers and subscribers will go off the charts. Good job so far, will be coming for more.

Just some ideas. Maybe switch the fridge + oven? Fridge isn't as deep and would give a little more counter access/corner, and be able to open that lower door under sink. Probably not to code, but we moved our water heater outside. Originally it was in the corner of the kitchen (big eye-sore). Just put down some pavers, moved it outside against the kitchen wall, wrapped it in fiberglass, and enclosed it with (free) wood we found from some old privacy fencing. Never had a problem with it. Frees up space that could be a closet or maybe stackable washer/dryer?

An accordian door or a blackout curtain would be a great idea for your bathroom. You can get either with a screen print on them. The barn doors takes a lot of space. Good luck it looks fabulous!!
