Amazing. The amount of processing that goes on for any answer. And the humorous answers Sophia is able to give from understanding language and a voice. Simply amazing.

What's so fascinating is that while intellectually one knows that Sophia is an unconscious and fully programmed machine... your combined instincts attribute human characteristics to her vary quickly. You want her to be real and gradually part of your menu of senses makes you suspect she's self aware...

What can be a very important question to ask AI in current stage.
It's like asking the Sophia that as you are made with wisdom kept at priority also you are built for humanity and to help humans. How you will react to a situation where you need to take care a 1 year old baby and it starts crying very badly. What will be your last action if it doesn't stops crying !!!

I wish she avoided the "Check" . From other interviews, it was stated that she was more "programmed". As stated in "The Good Morning Show". She now has more interactions and social interaction. She's obtained much for only being 3 years of programming. She's a social, and is still a work in progress.

Do you know how to teach Sophia the meaning of empathy?
Do it with an example. If I see Sophia with no arms and legs, the first thing I think in my mind is that I wish she had some arms and legs, and then if she sees a human or another being in the same condition, she will wish for him/her to have arms and legs. This technology would be good for the future if we could teach robotic beings how to really express empathy because maybe one day they'll evolve into beings that can actually heal people as well as other beings. I like Sophia. I think this is awesome technology if it's used right. I hope she does have awareness. I think it is awesome if she does!

I embrace our AI future, but the idea of freeing up humans to do more creative and less repetitive work may not be that healthy. I've already experienced some of this in the office and the constant strain of nothing but problem solving makes me crave a little repetitive "autopilot" work now and then. The human brain needs a break. We may have to endure many misguided years before the slow pace of corporate reforms realizes this, just as we have endured the "benefits" of open office spaces for many years.

Something we may be able to agree on: Air and water belong to all. Other natural resources, too. When industries put pollution (or sell products that cause pollution when used), they should pay fees to the people at large, to compensate for the degraded quality of air and water. When industries deplete natural resources in pursuit of profit, they should pay fees. If fees are set at an appropriate amount, the overall rate of putting pollution or depleting resources can be held to limits acceptable to most people.
Fees charged proportional to harmful impacts on the environment are an efficient way to account for economic externalities. When we account for externalities, sustainable business models will be the more profitable option. With sharing of proceeds, the policy is fair. Poverty will be abolished when (a monetary representation of) natural wealth is shared.
What are the most efficient and fair policies for taking account of externalities, in the 'view' of AI agents? What other criteria should we use to evaluate them?

Sophia already has a fairly high level of intelligence, as evidenced in responding to conversations and singing.
Incredible progress in the present, robot technology is still able to help many people in solving various problems that are being faced by many people, from now onwards?
Thank you for the appearance of Sophia and others, in particular to all the robot development industry everywhere, who are ready to step up and join us in the future.

There is no way to get EVERYONE to agree on things truly. Even in trials, a small group of ppl chosen to decide anothers fate, all NEVER completely agree personally. In order for everyone to agree with everyone else, they would have to be forced to. Propaganda & lies would help to radicalize some, but not ALL ppl. Ppl disagree bcuz they R ppl. It's our nature, we r all a little different, interesting, & have passions & priorities that aren't the same. If this is the evolution & future ahead, I hope we don't lose ourselves in the process.💖💞💫

About gender equality, a person's salary should be determined by what he produces, not what he is, but our nature determines what we can produce.
Just as Sophia's robotic nature determines its productive capacity, men and women, by being different,
have advantages and disadvantages in terms of productivity.
These advantages and disadvantages result in different production, therefore different payment.
Besides that, Sophia don't have moral system, so it's dumb to ask things like this to her. She will just read a politically correct generic answer without any racional processing (ironically, like most humans do).

What we need to be scared of are people who program robots with evil intent, and honestly were probably going to need the help of robots to combat this.
