As an actually professionally trained dancer, my opinion is that she is amazingly talented and fitting for the role of main dancer. All the people calling her out on things like being stiff and having no facials, are not trained in dance whatsoever and they are not trained to critique. Karina is an incredible dancer and it sucks to see her get so much hate just because people are jealous or bored

However, SM Entertainment have the best dancers in the KPOP scene and the standards they set are too high for a "MAIN DANCER". Kind of unexpected but if you look it now after all the dancing she's done so far, I think her forte might be urban/hiphop + locking/popping. Not like Hyoyeon but more like Seulgi, style wise. Looks like she learned tutting too? She's got good power and technique; always sharp and clean. Not to mention her control and balance between her upper and lower body. I hope she gets to showcase it more. Also, this choreo and style itself is supposed to be a bit rough and tight, not loose and wavy

Kind of unexpected but if you look it now after all the dancing she's done so far, I think her forte might be urban/hiphop + locking/popping. Not like Hyoyeon but more like Seulgi, style wise. Looks like she learned tutting too? She's got good power and technique; always sharp and clean. Not to mention her control and balance between her upper and lower body. I hope she gets to showcase it more. Also, this choreo and style itself is supposed to be a bit rough and tight, not loose and wavy
