BIRDMAN RALLY - COLOUR

(29 Aug 1976) At Selsey in Sussex once again the prize of £3,000 eludes the competitors in the annual Birdman Rally. Using home-made wings the birdmen launch themselves from the lifeboat jetty and try to glide 50 metres out to sea, but for most it is just a big splash.
