+carlinfan4life That would have been brutal. Props to the Crue for bringing on a band that dragged their dicks in the dirt. Akira has always been a bad ass. Ridiculous talent.

Akira has such a unique style and such a refreshing experience nowadays when most American and European guitarists sound alike!! This man is underrated in my humble opinion and can hold his own on any rock guitarist dead or alive he's becoming a true legend IMHO? ROCK ON AKIRA TAKASAKI!! 🤟😜
I've been a fan from the moment I heard "Crazy Nights". He is one of my all time favorite players. I had a ticket for a local show 4 or 5 years ago and could not go. 😞 Hopefully they come back again. 💚🎸
LEGEND! One of the best hard rock/metal guitar players of all time! Listen to 'Thunder In The East' and 'Lightning Strikes', and you will hear the best metal riffing and leads your ears have ever had the privilege of hearing! Mind blowing and oh so technical!
Akira is a MONSTER SHREDDER!!!!! I love everything he’s recorded but tothis day, Disillusion has got to be there best most criminally under-rated heavy metal record of all time.
I agree. I just listened to Biosphere today, and I must say that it's different, but I loved it...but quality headphones or earbuds are necessary, as well as listening all the way through...no fast forwarding.
My band opened up for Loudness on the last night of their 25th anniversary tour, got to hang out with them and have a few drinks after the show… very humble guys! Akira signed one of my guitars!

Interesting trivia about Akira Takasaki. His first major group was a group called LAZY, which were kind of like a late 70s early 80s boy band/pop rock band aimed at teenagers. Yes thats right late 70s early 80s. Akira was just a teen in that. Munetaka Higuchi(drummer of loudness) was also part of LAZY. Both him and akira wanted to play heavy metal music instead of being basically pop idols. The main singer of LAZY was Hironobu Kageyama, most famous in West for the DBZ "cha-la head cha-la" song.. small world but interesting.

After all the crazy night's riff is cool !
This is what happens when you've been playing guitar every day of your life for something like 45 years.
Money James 逆に今のギタリストはアドリブに滅法弱い。
