Wow, should go viral. Where is the original video? I want to share it to wider audience.

They should lean about this in school but sadly they don’t!

I'm watching this and remembering watching (but somehow not being afraid of) the 1967 Detroit riots as a 7 year old. And being fed by Black Panthers in the mornings.

I don’t mind segregated schools, but would like equally funded schools..I didn’t like being bused ..I developed a shame of my being that I didn’t feel in my neighborhood along with white Italians and Irish children we played with. Sad, little has changed as far as redlining, education in public schools, getting loans….

My teachers were wonderful at teaching us at James Bowie Elementary School. They cared about us and taught us that once you get educated no, one can take that away from you. You would always carry it with you wherever you went. They would always say, " once you learn the basics you will get the rest" Reading, writing and math will take you a long way💜💯🙏🏽📐📏📕✏️

I was born in 1962 and one of 8 children. Being the 7th child, it was mentally challenging.

This is pretty good BUT why would you play a Sammy Davis, Jr. song that has no real meaning nor does it lift Black folks and not play a piece of Nina Simone's with the children singing To Be Young, Gifted and Black? Really?! This was a huge error on your part. Lift up the women and children! Thank you
